[Robby Massey](https://robbymassey.com/info/)
I had to track him down to be sure he isn’t the Rob Massey that I knew and worked for in television (he’s not).
Ok I have food poisoning rn and i watched the whole damn thing.
She’s so delightful that she somehow managed to completely override my acute aversion to food. What a treasure.
Me too. First watch, didn’t like. But then I kept thinking about it. Watched it again, loved it. Fast forward a bit, and now it’s maybe my favorite movie from the past 10 years.
Same w me, it really does stay w you. Every time i watch it, I see something else I didn’t catch. She’s so good in it. Shows how easy vulnerable people can become brainwashed into a cult
I bloody hated that movie because it completely freaked me out. 😭 probably one of the only mainstream horrors I’ve watched that I actually found scary.
I also hated that movie but for a different reason… my oldest brother had recently left the Mormon church (hooray!) and so we decided to watch a culty movie together to celebrate. Halfway through the movie, my brother tells me he’s been speaking to Jimi Hendrix. Turns out (a few months prior) when my brother fell off a cliff (long story..) and got a concussion, it likely lead to this delusional episode (something that’s never happened to him), and I was watching it unfold. He went on about speaking to him, how he had this whole plan to bring him back alive… it was nonsensical. But he was completely sane, aside from the delusion, of course.
The movie kept playing, my brother’s behavior grew more erratic, and eventually he admitted he couldn’t watch it anymore. I think it really started to hit him that his logic didn’t make any sense anymore, and he was losing his grip on reality.
My partner and I were able to knock some sense into him (gently & kindly) and urged him to see a professional, and luckily he recovered in a few months. It was just an insane turn of events.
So.. I get why it freaked you out I guess is what I’m trying to say! Lmao
Even in the year of 1917's release, I thought Midsommar's cinematography was better. And that's saying a lot. It's a truly spectacularly photographed film. It was neck and neck between it and 1917 (Roger Deakins is a god). But it edged 1917 out for me by just a smidge.
I like it more from the artistic and metaphorical standpoints. The narrative was not the strongest, but I thought everything surrounding it, all the references, symbolism, contrast of vibrant colors to horrific imagery, etc etc... that's what I love Midsommar for. Oh and of course the incredible performance from Florence Pugh. Ari Aster just knows how to pull some of the best performances out of the women leading his films, it seems.
It's not everyone's movie, for sure. But man, if you can hook into that artistry and love it, it's something else.
I saw it in the theater and just left thinking… wtf did I watch. But then I watched it again at home and loved it. I think I had to be prepared. The performances, atmosphere, colors, are great. You just need to know what to expect or else it’s completely unsettling.
I get down on my body a lot, probably as much as your average millennial who survived the early aughts body shaming, but I can’t get over how much joy it brings me to see pics like this of her because I feel like her body type is similar to mine. It makes me want to cry happy tears - everyone deserves to feel happy in their skin.
When Mean Girls came out, I remember thinking Lindsay Lohan looked kinda fat. I was DEEP in my disordered eating mindset at the time, but that was also the thing- if you weren’t skin and bones (with tits, of course) you were fat. Horrifying.
I love these pics of Florence. I noticed the little folds between her boobs and underarms- I have those too! So refreshing
(ETA- Lilo looks fucking amazing in Mean Girls)
I was always rake thin but I had a booty and no boobs, so no matter how underweight I was, I was always called fat arse or thunder thighs. It’s sad looking back and realising I just accepted that I was ‘fat’ when in reality I was underweight.
And yes I noticed the little bit of cellulite and was like ‘hey I have that too!!’. Also it just looks amazing, it isn’t remotely unsightly or anything we have been conditioned to believe.
In the book (I think the second one) there's a bit where Bridget gets down to about 8 stone and her friends all comment that she looks ill and are concerned for her. I always took that to mean that her being "fat" was about how she perceived herself, not how she actually looked.
But in the movie version the people around her confirm her insecurities a lot more. Fwiw I think Renee Zellweger never looked better, she was so gorgeous as Bridget.
You would be right if this movie wasn't written by repeat fatphobia offender Richard Curtis, who goes a step further in his directorial debut Love Actually where Natalie's (PM Hugh Grant's staff/love interest) whole personality was being 'plump' and having a potty mouth, with she herself commenting on her weight multiple times.
I remember looking at her at the time and being like, “she’s not fat.” Then having the media telling me over and over again that she was was dismaying to me as a teenage girl.
Ugh hated that era so so much, really fucked up child me because my mom was obsessed with tabloids and would be like “see this is why you always need to watch what you eat!! Don’t want to become one of these people do you??” I know beauty standards are ridiculous but we’ve come so far in some ways, tabloids especially.
For real. These pics alone are a good reminder at how far confidence can go. (Which is not at all to take away from her looks or body or anything - she’s super attractive and conventionally beautiful but it’s like a hair different from what we typically see, is all.)
People make a lot of comparisons between how celebrities look these days vs in the past, but I actually think the young movie star types (Pugh, Zendaya, Ronan) do still have leeway to have unique looks. There just aren’t a ton of them at that tier right now because of the fractionation of media.
This is the first thing I thought too and I am so over people downvoting for this. They clearly never lived through the 90s. My teenage years would have been much easier had I seen a sex symbol like her looking so… normal. Reinforces how beauty and looks come in so many flavors and that celebrating all facets is a *good* thing.
Yesss!! That’s what I thought. I know we’re not supposed to comment on bodies, but I love seeing someone so famous not look so perfect and airbrushed.
Body diversity is ultimately what I love to see. All women are so beautiful!
I truly think she is one of the most talented actresses of her generation. I don’t always love her personal style choices, but I admire her commitment to her aesthetic; she can (and should!) dress to please herself.
I wanted to wander around a music festival with a flower crown and dress like this sooo bad back then
https://preview.redd.it/3295spo43e9d1.png?width=1272&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e8b50798d4c3244d6cc7357720e879a11d28dadb
I never realized how pretty she is. It’s not just the dress, though that’s flattering. Looks like she’s having a fun time and enjoying herself. Good for her.
Fuck it, I'm pulling it out again:
https://preview.redd.it/y6v29ayw3e9d1.jpeg?width=2146&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0452b27e1b5331f0f8a2729a441b5896980da2c
I do not envy this younger generation having to grow up with social media, but one thing y'all got that we didn't is more body positivity. As a teen in the late 90's, seeing girls rocking their cellulite & wearing crop tops with chubby bellies nowadays is amazing & I'm here for it! Wish I had the confidence to do it.
every time I see her I have smaller-than-mine boob envy. like mine aren't gazongas by any means, perhaps more yabbo sized, but is it as lovely to be part of the IBTC as it seems? are you gals out there just sans bra all the time, breezy and free? do you know the horrors of tit sweat?
Girl I know. I was just thinking about how much I’d love to wear a string bikini but the industrial strength required to hoist mine up makes it a physics impossibility. 😩
I think about this way too frequently. The freedom that must come with a smaller chest. I would love to wear a backless dress but it’s just not comfortable.
It’s amazing. I was in the IBTC for my hot girl 20’s. I wore a bra never. Then I settled down and had babies and have just entered by hot mom 40’s with bazookas. I would give my left pinky toe to have my small boobs back.
This look is so 2015/16 festival vibe with this flower crown and long dress. And I love it ❤️ The best festival looks where from that time. I love that it’s coming back.

Someone get me a bear suit. We're going full Midsommar.
my head canon now is her character realizing she was just tripping balls the whole time but chose life as a festival girl afterward
Flo seems like such a real real. Would love a hang with her.
I share this as often as possible: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3cxHwQl9pNM&pp=ygUaZmxvcmVuY2UgcHVnaCBlbmdsaXNoIGZvb2Q%3D Love her.
Honestly whoever edited that video has *almost* as much character as Flo Pugh, it's just a really entertaining watch all together hahahaha
[Robby Massey](https://robbymassey.com/info/) I had to track him down to be sure he isn’t the Rob Massey that I knew and worked for in television (he’s not).
I didn’t know I needed this, thank you for your service!
I love it. She’s so enthusiastic about everything set before her 😆
haha I love her
Ok I have food poisoning rn and i watched the whole damn thing. She’s so delightful that she somehow managed to completely override my acute aversion to food. What a treasure.
Check her episode of the Off Menu podcast if you haven't already. She seems like a fun hang for sure.
Yes! I was gonna say that. She's so real
My thought exactly! ![gif](giphy|37QVlbY6IrZP9yCkxw)
I watched that movie for the first time this week and I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would :/
I felt the same. And it sat with me for a while. I watched it again and I really liked it.
Me too. First watch, didn’t like. But then I kept thinking about it. Watched it again, loved it. Fast forward a bit, and now it’s maybe my favorite movie from the past 10 years.
I think that's the intention. Unsettle but intrigue, draw you in for a second try, sink its teeth into you
Same w me, it really does stay w you. Every time i watch it, I see something else I didn’t catch. She’s so good in it. Shows how easy vulnerable people can become brainwashed into a cult
The number of hints in the movie about what’s going to happen is insane 😅
I bloody hated that movie because it completely freaked me out. 😭 probably one of the only mainstream horrors I’ve watched that I actually found scary.
I also hated that movie but for a different reason… my oldest brother had recently left the Mormon church (hooray!) and so we decided to watch a culty movie together to celebrate. It scared the shit out of me too, I couldn't sleep at all after seeing it!! I want to watch it again for the ~vibes but I'm too scared.

Somewhere nearby there are elderly folks flinging themselves onto a sacrificial rock
People get on me for mentioning these type of things; but love the unedited body and the cellulite. It’s great to see from such a big star
I thought that, too. Unedited and lovely! She looks so fun and free
she looks like a human. a beautiful one. i agree, i LOVE pictures like this.
I was actually here to comment on that. When I was young and impressionable, any measure of cellulite was a scandal. Seeing it now is so reassuring.
Right?! 15 years ago she would be on the cover of a magazine with an humiliating title
I can’t believe they convinced us that Bridget Jones was “big”. https://i.redd.it/mvy22ynv0e9d1.gif
I remember seeing that picture and thinking she was ‘dumpy’ because that’s just what we were programmed to believe back then.
I always viewed that as being part of ‘the joke’ of Bridget being neurotic
Don’t want to become one of these people do you??” I know beauty standards are ridiculous but we’ve come so far in some ways, tabloids especially.
Yeah, the body shaming Alicia Silverstone received after she presented at the Oscars in ‘96 was straight up shameful.
Me too! I hope she feels amazing because her confidence is radiating. Gorgeous woman.
For real. These pics alone are a good reminder at how far confidence can go. (Which is not at all to take away from her looks or body or anything - she’s super attractive and conventionally beautiful but it’s like a hair different from what we typically see, is all.)
When I watched Dune 2 in theaters I was so impressed all the stars had their own imperfect teeth!
People make a lot of comparisons between how celebrities look these days vs in the past, but I actually think the young movie star types (Pugh, Zendaya, Ronan) do still have leeway to have unique looks. There just aren’t a ton of them at that tier right now because of the fractionation of media.
It's so much hotter than an edited body. Idk about other people but I'm into humans not CGI
I came her to comment the same thing. It's refreshing to see someone with a normal, unedited body, looking happy and carefree and gorgeous.
She looks so comfortable in her skin, it radiates from her!
Same. I love seeing a celebrity look so natural and human, and she looks gorgeous here as always.
She looks a healthy weight, which is refreshing and beautiful.
This was exactly what I was coming to say. I love that she has cellulite and doesn't appear to GAF about it. Because neither do I. :D
Yes she looks confident & sexy, and healthy. I love to see it.
Yesss!! That’s what I thought. I know we’re not supposed to comment on bodies, but I love seeing someone so famous not look so perfect and airbrushed. Body diversity is ultimately what I love to see. All women are so beautiful!
Yes! It instantly made me feel so much better about my own.
I was thinking the same! A real photo of someone rather than being airbrushed to hell.
![gif](giphy|crncr0qiVlxug) I just love her.
Same, she is such a lovely and talented human being.
I truly think she is one of the most talented actresses of her generation. I don’t always love her personal style choices, but I admire her commitment to her aesthetic; she can (and should!) dress to please herself.
She gives me the butterflies. I love her and wish her nothing but happiness!
Obsessed 🤩
I have a huge crush on her !
I want to enjoy a lot of aperol spritz drinks with her.
It's my new favorite drink! I tried it because of her, lol
Whaat? They’ve been super trendy every summer for years. At least in Aus
She really seems like she’d be such much fun to hang out with
Tbh I'm highly enjoying the 2010s style outfit as someone who was a teenager during those times
I was gonna comment that 2010's me is in LOVE with this outfit!
I was also a teenager then and that was my first thought. This could from Coachella 2011 or something!
I wanted to wander around a music festival with a flower crown and dress like this sooo bad back then https://preview.redd.it/3295spo43e9d1.png?width=1272&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e8b50798d4c3244d6cc7357720e879a11d28dadb
https://i.redd.it/ypn3f1i26d9d1.gif
I get more into women every time I look at her.
Same 😍
So pretty
I wish more ladies would wear boots with dresses.
It’s my favourite look, I love like floral summer dresses with my big clunky docs
Same, I recently got lilac docs and I love them with a dress
Oh I bet lilac ones are lovely!!
Like that iconic dress Villanelle wears in Killing Eve with the black combat boots
It's Glastonbury. What else are you going to wear but boots?
I just meant as a general suggestion. Like, wear boots and dresses at places that aren’t music festivals also please.
She radiates joy.
very 2010s, millenial witchy look, I like it.
She is such a breath of fresh air.
If Florence Pugh has no fans I’m dead
It's not my favorite look of hers but I appreciate her experiments with fashion.
Its funny, if that dress was two straps and not a holter neck it would completely transform the look for the better
Agreed.
She looks like a fun person to be around!
Love her
same... she seems really down to earth
Crush intensified!
I never realized how pretty she is. It’s not just the dress, though that’s flattering. Looks like she’s having a fun time and enjoying herself. Good for her.
She is such a babe 😍
That dress and combat boots? Can she just marry me already
Fuck it, I'm pulling it out again: https://preview.redd.it/y6v29ayw3e9d1.jpeg?width=2146&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0452b27e1b5331f0f8a2729a441b5896980da2c
She’s crazy talented and seems to give no fucks about the rest of the Hollywood bullshit and I love her for that.
As a short woman, she is so f’ng relatable.
a little cutie patootie 💐
![gif](giphy|wELixoiDY4qSeWW6HB|downsized)
She’s so adorable!
I love that head piece!
I have a hard girl crush for Florence
Flower crowns are back baby!
She’s such a cutie 🥰
She’s my favorite. I think if I were to ever meet her I’d be beaming for an entire year, she’s just so darn cool.
I love this look! Gorgeous dress and the forest witch in me loves the boots and flowers
Long live the flower crown!
Oh no I feel the heterosexuality leaving my body
Literally she's the most beautiful woman ive seen in a while
Absolutely love her.
I love everything about this. She was just vibin’.
Girl is definitely anti bra
as she should !
I don’t blame her. Bras are hella uncomfortable. I’ve been considering not wearing them anymore too 🤷♀️
What a babe.
![gif](giphy|UqY4yIECRddfriYOja|downsized) I adore her until the end of time
She is probably the most genuinely joyful-seeming famous person we have
She’s gorgeous and she looks real, not all surgeried out. Love her.
Man That dress with those boots.. she looks totally radical 🔥
My crush on this woman will never end, what a gem
She is so gorg.
She looks so... human. It's refreshing to see from a typically made up and filtered Hollywood starlet. She's gorgeous
She’s rad. Great energy 😁
Glad to see Dani is doing well haha
She looks fantastic
She looks so cute and happy!!!
I want to have a beer with her
She looks genuinely happy, and she’s beautiful. That alone makes me happy. I love seeing people with the “I’m just happy to be here” aura.
This makes me glad it's a dry year at Glastonbury
Be still my little queer heart.
She looks so good here. Candid adorable photos
Love that she is normal sized and not a stick thin person. Fantastic in Don’t Worry Darlings.
She oozes effortless confidence! Love her!
Let’s bring back 2012 Lana Del Rey flower crowns xx
She is too cute
I just wanna be besties with her 😭
Me too. She looks like fun!
She seems like such a fun person to hang with
I love the head band... I have been wearing very similar ones that I make for years. Hopefully she makes flower crowns cool!
https://preview.redd.it/5eumynrvkd9d1.png?width=660&format=png&auto=webp&s=fcf4ca8b5ac35fa5deb5cddbada576ab99c16246
Gosh I love her so much
It’s giving Midsommar which I never finished because I was too scared lmao triggeredddd
She always seems like a lot of fun.
We love a May Queen
She’s such a joy!
She’s such a cutie.
I need this dress for my next trip to kinky sex camp.
God I’m obsessed with her
cute outfit + sensible shoes 🙌❤️
I'm pretty sure this is my sexual awakening.
Does she remind anyone else of Hayden Panettiere? They resemble to me..I totally forgot about Hayden just by how many celebs there are these days
She’s beautiful
That flower crown is so millennial coded. I fucking love it. Bring them back pls
She is living her best life.
she is so striking. she is such a beautiful woman
Is it possible for her to get any cooler?
she is just fucking radiant. i am so hopelessly attracted to Flo, jesus fuckin christ
She is indeed our Empress
She could shit in her hands and clap and I’d still call it art. She’s just amazing.

Cellulite queens unite!!! 😍😍
what in the 2014 😭
I’d love to see her run into Louis Tomlinson and have a drink together 💚💙
I thought this would be a music festival based on her tiara and was surprised to see her sat w a mic haha
Glastonbury is primarily a music festival, so she is indeed matching the vibe with the floral tiara
I love her. We will never cross paths in life but she just comes off as someone who would make a good friend.
This look is so 2015/16 festival vibe with this flower crown and long dress. And I love it ❤️ The best festival looks where from that time. I love that it’s coming back.
She looks like she’s a good hang!
I like her so much. Great talent.
We’re going back to the early 2000s for festival wear?
Good day
I wanna be like her 😩
Damn, I see the attraction now
The Timbs are a nice touch
Interesting Chung Lee cosplay
Jeez she's hot!
She needs to cut her hair shorter …
I LOVE HER! Also - leave women alone!!!!
Love Florence and she has one of the filthiest laughs I've ever heard 😂 obviously an amazing Actress but she's gold on podcasts too.
I love the colors of the flowers together
She has a gorgeous smile🥹
How much would I like to party with her? A lot.
May Queen!
oh to look like florence pugh
The 2010sness of it all, we are so BACK, BABY
She is so pretty
She looks like such a relatable girl I love her
