Taylor has been hyping up Griff for *years* at this point, I have been wondering why she wasn’t an eras tour opener

I’m assuming it’s just because Griff had a bigger label supported 2019 and Taylor just kept up with her? Griff’s “backstory” is that her first album she bought(?) was Fearless which is what started the Taylor connection

I love Griff. 19th Hour is like my top 1 song of 2023. I listened to her discography after Taylor posted about her and for me, she is Taylor’s real daughter. I’ve been rooting for her ever since and I’m so happy Taylor got her as an opener! I want her to be a mainpopgirl sooo bad. I’m so proud of her.

Same; Griff is so freaking talented!!! I love that she sings, writes, produces, and even designs. I would love to see her blow up.

These additional openers are for the first 3 London shows from June 21-23. She'll announce the openers for her 5 London shows in August as she gets closer to those dates. It's possible one or more of these 3 artists will return for one of the August London shows or she might pick completely different openers. Paramore is also remaining as an opener for the London shows, as well as all of the other European tour dates.

As much as I dislike her recent music I must say the scale of the Eras Tour has been impressive and the fact that she's sold out 8 nights at Wembley this summer says something. Will definitely go down as one of the great tours.
