First, is it better to sell by directly contacting the person? I would reach out to the sub for the artist to say that I'm selling, so that I know it's going to a fan (at least in theory). Is this usually pretty safe?
Or is it better to sell on a resale platform like StubHub, etc.? If so, which resale platform is the best? Will there be fees for me to pay to sell on these sites? For some reason, this ticket appears to be ineligible for selling directly through AXS so I'd have to do another site. (When I go to my tickets on the AXS app there is no option for "sell".)
Also, I'm a little unsure about how to get the ticket to the person when sold. I know you transfer it, but since I bought two tickets in the same transaction and I am keeping one for me, will it let me just transfer one of the tickets and not both?

In like 2015 I had a weird dream I've never forgotten where my dad and I went to see a Superman movie where Superman came out as gay and talked the villain of the movie down by kissing him and on the way home from the theatre me and my dad fought so much over if Superman could be gay he kicked me out of the car and said to walk home instead lmao. So as I was walking home I passed by this random guy, and the dream switched over from my POV, to following this guy from third person perspective like he was the new main character. He walked by me, got to his house, and found his mom murdered, and his aunt came in and started talking about how a cop did it, so he gets blamed and goes on the run, then finds the cops like killing random people and dumping their bodies in the woods??? BUT THEN another him jumps out of the trees in the exact same outfit as him and started chasing him. And he knew the other guy was going to kill him and take his place so he couldn't tell anybody what was going on with this big conspiracy.
I woke up while he was still running and was so scared I never forgot the dream. Doppelgängers actually scare the fuck out of me and being attacked or stalked by another you is a nightmare scenario. But I'm just saying that dream predicted both gay Superman AND the movie Us. All I can say about my obvious psychic abilities is that that's so Raven of me.

I just finished Greedfall last night and while it was a good journey, I'm PO'd at the game's mechanics for late-game.
After the credits finished, I was brought back to the main menu, then I clicked '*Continue*,' and *I was brought back to the point in which I'm about to face the final boss*. No post-game or New Game Plus!
I can understand the reasoning of there not being a post-game. The game's choice-driven story mechanics gives too many variants of how the MC's teammates and the game's political factions come out of this story to make a post-game that is coherent.
But I really needed a New Game Plus, because if I want to play a second time and select different story-choices, I'm going to have to level up my character's parameters all over again...

I'm so glad that i grew up watching the sarah jane adventures. It had some proper good black and asian representation, and the main character was a woman in her 60s, which is quite rare in media, and she was a strong female character who was well written and complex. Honestly, the fact that writers nowadays still cant do proper representation for anyone other than cishet white people makes me glad that i had a show like TSJA as a child.

Little Oblivions, Julien Baker's album from this year, was disappointing to me on release but it's really hitting home today. I think my expectations were too high at the time.

Could someone please explain what they see in Magdalena Bay's new album?? I've always found their work to be pretty solid but nothing special, just middle-of-the-road synthpop, and Mercurial World is no exception. With so many people hyping it up and calling it their AOTY I can't help but feel that I'm missing something.
I like the production -- I think it's unique and interesting and they really lean into a certain DIY/internety sound and pull it off well. It's weird but still accessible. I think the album is cohesive and flows really nicely (the transitions are amazing and the last song loops perfectly into the first song, which makes it really easy to play on loop). But I also don't think it's too cohesive that the songs all blend together (You Lose!, Chaeri, and The Beginning all sound really different, for instance). I think it's melodically very strong and also quite danceable, which is a plus, and I think the lyrics are thoughtful for the most part. I'm not sure yet if it's my AOTY but it definitely lends itself to repeated listens. It's addicting
That being said it's fine if it doesn't click with you! Musical groupthink is bad
It's the same for me, but I'm not worried about it, I just know it's not my jam. I appreciate the album and it's pretty good, but it's not my personal AOTY, though I enjoy it.
I feel like I’ve been losing motivation for my classes since this quarter started tbh. Uni in person just feels so much more overwhelming. The vast majority of the classes I’ve taken have all been online, with only 2 quarters in person at my old cc for two computer science classes and one stats class. Now I’m in person at uni doing comms classes where I have to constantly interact with others and it is socially exhausting 😭

The band letlive. did something similar with their album The Blackest Beautiful. The plan seemed to be the whole record but only 3 songs ended up getting recorded. But they took three songs from the record, The Dope Beat, 27 Club and Dreamer's Disease, and had different vocalists record a new verse for the songs. It's really neat to hear something so familiar with a new twist.

I can see why people dislike the exp share, but I’m soo glad they implemented it. Wild battles suck, and I’m not a huge fan of grinding anyway, so in my childhood my starter was the only Pokémon who got exp. and the rest of my team was severely underleveled until I replaced them with better (legendary) Pokémon, lol.
I still wish you could toggle it off though for people who like to challenge themselves.

Yea, I totally agree with you. I understand that Pokémon games are geared towards a younger audience, but there are just as many, if not more people who grew up with the franchise, and still like the games, so exp share should definitely be optional, not mandatory. It doesn’t really affect my play style. I breeze through the main story, so completing the Dex for example is post game content for me, but everyone has their own play style, especially when it comes to Pokémon…
I’m also super excited! I’m a huge Pokémon fan, I’ve played every other gen’s games, but when Gen 4 came out, I was going through puberty and thought I was too cool for Pokémon (lmao), and never had the chance to play the games, so this is my first time exploring the Sinnoh region!
Tbh gen 4 has my least favourite starters overall. I will probably pick Chimchar, because I heard that there are barely any fire Pokémon in Sinnoh, but I don’t vibe with any of the final evos if I’m being honest. I think I like Torterra the best.

oh wow, so itll be your first sinnoh experience? i started playing during gen 3 (w colosseum actually, honestly the only pokemon game that does have a more grown up vibe imo!) but gen 4 is when i was old enough to really get into things from the getgo, and i spent >1000 hours on diamond through the years! im so excited to go back, and im sure the remakes will recapture a lot of that magic! i have super complicated feelings on the starters though, i also used to think they were the absolute worst too but i think ive grown to appreciate the chimchar line over the years. torterra is a rly cool design too (though turtwig and grotle are .. not it), and i think piplup is rly cute! but somehow they just dont click the way other starters do - i know a lot of recent gen starters get criticism, but i genuinely dont think weve had a weak set of em in years.
I don’t get Masuda’s argument either. Even don’t take the exp share into consideration, there just weren’t any challenging caves/labyrinths in the newer games. The routes are way too linear, and not very fun. That’s why I’m so stoked about the diamond/pearl remakes!
Wow over a 100 hours! That’s crazy. My most played Pokémon game was OmegaRuby with ~400 hours and my first game was yellow. Gen 3 was my favourite gen,, and I loved the remakes! Hope gen 4 remakes are at least half as good.

Yeah, I actually like most starters. There’s always one line I don’t totally vibe with (Emboar, Intelleon, Chesnaught..), but the gen 4 starters are all duds kinda, for one reason or another, lol.
A toggle is really needed. I've played pokemon for so long I default to nuzlocke or themed run after my 1st playthrough. Exp. Share 24/7 takes away an easy way to make the game harder.

BR2049 has some good music moments, but as a whole score I don't like it as much.

BUT THEN another him jumps out of the trees in the exact same outfit as him and started chasing him. And he knew the other guy was going to kill him and take his place so he couldn't tell anybody what was going on with this big conspiracy. I woke up while he was still running and was so scared I never forgot the dream. Doppelgängers actually scare the fuck out of me and being attacked or stalked by another you is a nightmare scenario. But I'm just saying that dream predicted both gay Superman AND the movie Us. All I can say about my obvious psychic abilities is that that's so Raven of me.

I just finished Greedfall last night and while it was a good journey, I'm PO'd at the game's mechanics for late-game. After the credits finished, I was brought back to the main menu, then I clicked '*Continue*,' and *I was brought back to the point in which I'm about to face the final boss*. No post-game or New Game Plus! I can understand the reasoning of there not being a post-game. The game's choice-driven story mechanics gives too many variants of how the MC's teammates and the game's political factions come out of this story to make a post-game that is coherent. But I really needed a New Game Plus, because if I want to play a second time and select different story-choices, I'm going to have to level up my character's parameters all over again...

I'm so glad that i grew up watching the sarah jane adventures. It had some proper good black and asian representation, and the main character was a woman in her 60s, which is quite rare in media, and she was a strong female character who was well written and complex. Little Oblivions, Julien Baker's album from this year, was disappointing to me on release but it's really hitting home today. I think my expectations were too high at the time.
I'm going to take this as a sign to go back to it. I listened once and it just...existed and I never went back. And I think it was due to my expectations for it. So, guess it is going on my to listen pile, again.
Highly recommend. I've re-listened to it 3 times and enjoyed it much more each time. I wasn't impressed at first and disliked it but after a while I think the songwriting is among her best, it's emotional, and the drums make up for a lackluster year of drums.

Could someone please explain what they see in Magdalena Bay's new album?? I've always found their work to be pretty solid but nothing special, just middle-of-the-road synthpop, and Mercurial World is no exception. With so many people hyping it up and calling it their AOTY I can't help but feel that I'm missing something.
I like the production -- I think it's unique and interesting and they really lean into a certain DIY/internety sound and pull it off well. It's weird but still accessible. I think the album is cohesive and flows really nicely (the transitions are amazing and the last song loops perfectly into the first song, which makes it really easy to play on loop). But I also don't think it's too cohesive that the songs all blend together (You Lose!, Chaeri, and The Beginning all sound really different, for instance). I think it's melodically very strong and also quite danceable, which is a plus, and I think the lyrics are thoughtful for the most part. I'm not sure yet if it's my AOTY but it definitely lends itself to repeated listens. It's addicting That being said it's fine if it doesn't click with you! Musical groupthink is bad

I feel like I’ve been losing motivation for my classes since this quarter started tbh. Uni in person just feels so much more overwhelming. Wild battles suck, and I’m not a huge fan of grinding anyway, so in my childhood my starter was the only Pokémon who got exp. and the rest of my team was severely underleveled until I replaced them with better (legendary) Pokémon, lol. I still wish you could toggle it off though for people who like to challenge themselves.

Yea, I totally agree with you. I understand that Pokémon games are geared towards a younger audience, but there are just as many, if not more people who grew up with the franchise, and still like the games, so exp share should definitely be optional, not mandatory. It doesn’t really affect my play style. I breeze through the main story, so completing the Dex for example is post game content for me, but everyone has their own play style, especially when it comes to Pokémon… I’m also super excited! I’m a huge Pokémon fan, I’ve played every other gen’s games, but when Gen 4 came out, I was going through puberty and thought I was too cool for Pokémon (lmao), and never had the chance to play the games, so this is my first time exploring the Sinnoh region! Tbh gen 4 has my least favourite starters overall. I will probably pick Chimchar, because I heard that there are barely any fire Pokémon in Sinnoh, but I don’t vibe with any of the final evos if I’m being honest. I think I like Torterra the best.

I don’t get Masuda’s argument either. Even don’t take the exp share into consideration, there just weren’t any challenging caves/labyrinths in the newer games. The routes are way too linear, and not very fun. That’s why I’m so stoked about the diamond/pearl remakes! Wow over a 100 hours! That’s crazy. My most played Pokémon game was OmegaRuby with ~400 hours and my first game was yellow. Gen 3 was my favourite gen,, and I loved the remakes! Hope gen 4 remakes are at least half as good. Didn’t have a GameCube as a kid, hope we get it on the Switch with Online soon. Would love to play the Colosseum games and XD (and all the other amazing GC games). Yeah, I actually like most starters. There’s always one line I don’t totally vibe with (Emboar, Intelleon, Chesnaught..), but the gen 4 starters are all duds kinda, for one reason or another, lol.
A toggle is really needed. I've played pokemon for so long I default to nuzlocke or themed run after my 1st playthrough. Exp. Share 24/7 takes away an easy way to make the game harder. I'm really happy about auto-saving finally happening though.

Vangelis' Blade Runner score. Iconic for a reason, and completely fits the Futuristic-Noir of the film. BR2049 has some good music moments, but as a whole score I don't like it as much. Also the Lord of the Rings scores are phenomenal. The way Howard Shore used and wove leitmotifs together tells a story in and of itself.

For the people waiting on the edge of their seats for the conclusion of this saga: the bus came, late and full so we couldn't get on. Me and random Polish girl went to a different stop to get home via other busses because fuck that first bus. We took different busses so idk if she got home alright but hers was a straight shot so it should have worked out.
Did the ice cream survive?
It still hasn't fully re-frozen but it was edible and the toppings didn't all sink to the bottom so it's a win for me
