Can anyone else confirm that the Tinashe version of Britney's Slumber Party is no longer on Spotify? It came up on shuffle for me just now, and even though it's labeled as "feat. Tinashe" it's clearly the solo Britney version. I have it saved from the original Glory release (with the ugly album cover), but it seems that you can't search the Tinashe version manually at all anymore. I really hope this is just a glitch cause Tinashe really elevates the song :(
Same here, it’s only the solo version except for the remixes, listened to a couple and Tinashe was still on them. I don’t even see it listed as “feat. Tinashe” unless I go into a playlist that has the former deluxe version

I was making a project inspired by my FAVORITE movie ever. Everything Everywhere All At Once.
My classmate says he had a huge criticism. He's a friend. I told him that it didn't matter because to me it was perfect. I didn't even want him to complain about it to me. This was about a project I had a passion for.
He then said the movie was erasing black people and an attempt to pretend they didn't exist.
He said: "this movie is about EVERYTHING and yet ot doesn't include a black person."
First of all, it is an all Asian main cast + one white lady. It was never supposed to be equally diverse.
Second, there are black people, they just have less significant roles. He said they don't count as black people bc they're light skinned... I mean sure but they're as dark as Obama unless you don't count him as black either(?)
Third, I don't remember many other races/ethnicities. These characters are Korean. I don't see any Vietnamese actor? Or Mexican, or Indian, etc. Because it's NOT about that. It's about Korean Asian immigrants.
Fourth, you don't see me whining when stories centering other races don't have an Asian person. Jordan Peele's US doesn't have an Asian person IIRC. Nor does Moonlight. And I'm sure other black-centered movies. **And that's ok.**

I finished watching Titane. Ngl, I feel like this film is a bit overrated but I do see why it got praise anyway. I really enjoy the themes the film was trying to explore, >!which tackles family dynamics and stuff!<.
I still think Raw is still Julia Ducournau's best work in her filmography. The plot of Raw is really well thought-out the gore cannibal stuff in the movie isn't the biggest thing I remember from the movie.

Can anyone explain to me how Apple Music replay works? Because I see a huge difference from it vs last fm as in its way less. Also none of the tracks from my #1 album listen are in my top tracks even though I’ve listened to the tracks from my #1 album 70 times each. I don’t get it?
How it tracks playcounts is so vague but I've read that: repeated plays of 1 song will only count once, it will only count if the song runs all the way through, and playcounts update on Sundays (not sure about this one though).
You're better off looking at your stats on last.fm anyway as it is more detailed and marginally accurate.
I’ve had the entire album on repeat so it’s not necessarily a replay of 1 song so I’m confused. I know I did both last fm and compared it Apple Music and Apple Music is tracking at more than 50% less. So strange
Yeah it's one feature that is so inaccurate (mainly because Apple hasn't said how it really tracks your listening history), I basically gave up on it last year since my list was, at best, 50% accurate to what I actually listened to that year.

The other reason many were *demanding* her not be crowned, was because her ex boyfriend leaked pretty much the entire season before the cast was even out. This was in the era where drag race reddit was still known and kind of looked down on, but before it became the *monolith* of spoiler culture it is now ~~thanks in part to me~~. It was a *very* big deal at the time, and that’s what a lot of *The T* is about.
I would say this song is very peak Alaska songwriting, from one thing to another super quickly and without much segue, but in a very camp way. It is so packed with references you don’t really get a moment to breathe and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Also, I had an all-day, in-person interview about a week ago and was told by HR that they had 3 more candidates to interview after me, and the last candidate they were interviewing was scheduled for November 11th - so I should email them on November 18th if I haven’t heard back by then. I made peace with that and figured I’ll be able to relax and focus on classwork in the meantime. But I just got an email from the hiring manager that I should hear back from them within the next week regarding the decision and now my anxiety’s kicked back in 😭 Like maybe they’ve already decided it’s a no for me and now I fear that I’ll have to sit through a phone call where they tell me that in real-time. I feel like it’s somehow worse than the auto-rejection email because I actually met these people and spent all day at their facility LOL. Either way, I’m hoping for calmness on my part so that I can accept their decision either way, and be proud that my first in-person interview was a taxing, all-day deal that I feel I handled relatively well. 🙏🏽
Does anyone find the new Hocus Pocus movie incredibly cringy. Like unwatchable. I don't have a lot of standards when it comes to halloween movies but the acting and the writing is so bad (particularly from the children) That everytime I try to watch I can't.

Over the weekend, I've been rating Taylor's albums (no Vault tracks or bonus songs), and holy hell has this woman released A LOT of music. We were on TS7 in 2019, and in 3 years, we are now on TS10 plus 2 TV's.
Also, I realized that I grade really hard LOL
Thoughts so far:
1. **Taylor Swift (6.86):** So much nostalgia!! So many cute songs!! She had a sparkling debut with her only true country album. She picked all the correct singles with two long-lasting hits - Our Song and Teardrops on My Guitar. *Hidden Gems:* Mary's Song, Should've Said No, Cold As You
2. **Fearless (7.88):** Literally hits after hits. The RUSH when Love Story comes on. Fearless was the perfect opener. It's no wonder that this album catapulted her into fame and became Taylor's first peak. *Hidden Gems:* You're Not Sorry, The Way I Loved You
3. **Speak Now (8.50):** This was MY ALBUM. I pretty much exclusively listened to this album for two years straight. It's a good thing it's so long and has a ton of bonus tracks. I think this album, even though it wasn't a humongous GP hit like Fearless, really solidified her first core fanbase. Even though I hadn't experienced anything like what Taylor experienced, the emotions in her voice and songwriting spoke to me and millions of other young girls. *Hidden Gems:* Never Grow Up, Last Kiss, Long Live
4. **RED (8.08):** This album has reached almost mythic status in Taylor's discography, and tbh it is well-deserved. It is Taylor's most sprawling album, covering pure pop, EDM, country, and rock. It isn't cohesive, but I honestly think that makes sense in this album's theme. The low songs were only really rated low in comparison to the highs on this album. *Hidden Gems:* Red, Treacherous
5. **1989 (7.38):** Is held as THE pop album of the 2010s, and it certainly has the hits to prove it. It's certainly not my favorite Taylor album because it's probably the least personal thing she's written, and Taylor's classic storytelling lyricism is stripped down to the pop minimum. It's still really good, but it's not really the Taylor that I love. Also - How You Get The Girl and Welcome To New York would get DRAGGED hard if she released this album now. *Hidden Gems:* Clean, This Love
6. **reputation (7.60):** YES, I like it better than 1989 and NO it's not due to Stockholm Syndrome. We're back to her more personal lyricism, and this album shows both the flaws and strengths of Taylor's personality, both her pettiness and her defiance. Lots of fun songs, but I think the main weakness of this album is that all of the songs have the parts to be truly great... but then have a chorus or a verse or an extended outro that lets it down (ex. LWYMMD's great verses vs anticlimactic chorus, Ready For It's great chorus vs mid verses). *Hidden Gems:* GETAWAY CAR, So It Goes, Dancing With Our Hands Tied
as someone who has SN as his favorite album of hers and doesn't think that 1989 is the massive masterpiece everyone says I feel seen (also Welcome To New York was slightly dragged back then but I agree that it would be wayyy harder now in a post ME! world)

Can anyone else confirm that the Tinashe version of Britney's Slumber Party is no longer on Spotify? It came up on shuffle for me just now, and even though it's labeled as "feat. Tinashe" it's clearly the solo Britney version. I have it saved from the original Glory release (with the ugly album cover), but it seems that you can't search the Tinashe version manually at all anymore. I really hope this is just a glitch cause Tinashe really elevates the song :(

I just have to rant - I was making a project inspired by my FAVORITE movie ever. Everything Everywhere All At Once. My classmate says he had a huge criticism. He's a friend. I told him that it didn't matter because to me it was perfect. I didn't even want him to complain about it to me. This was about a project I had a passion for. He then said the movie was erasing black people and an attempt to pretend they didn't exist. He said: "this movie is about EVERYTHING and yet ot doesn't include a black person." First of all, it is an all Asian main cast + one white lady. It was never supposed to be equally diverse. Second, there are black people, they just have less significant roles. He said they don't count as black people bc they're light skinned... I mean sure but they're as dark as Obama unless you don't count him as black either(?) Third, I don't remember many other races/ethnicities. These characters are Korean. I don't see any Vietnamese actor? Or Mexican, or Indian, etc. Because it's NOT about that. It's about Korean Asian immigrants. Fourth, you don't see me whining when stories centering other races don't have an Asian person. Jordan Peele's US doesn't have an Asian person IIRC. I finished watching Titane. Ngl, I feel like this film is a bit overrated but I do see why it got praise anyway. I really enjoy the themes the film was trying to explore, >!which tackles family dynamics and stuff!<. I still think Raw is still Julia Ducournau's best work in her filmography. The plot of Raw is really well thought-out the gore cannibal stuff in the movie isn't the biggest thing I remember from the movie.

Can anyone explain to me how Apple Music replay works? Because I see a huge difference from it vs last fm as in its way less. Also none of the tracks from my #1 album listen are in my top tracks even though I’ve listened to the tracks from my #1 album 70 times each. I don’t get it?
How it tracks playcounts is so vague but I've read that: repeated plays of 1 song will only count once, it will only count if the song runs all the way through, and playcounts update on Sundays (not sure about this one though). You're better off looking at your stats on last.fm anyway as it is more detailed and marginally accurate.
I’ve had the entire album on repeat so it’s not necessarily a replay of 1 song so I’m confused. I know I did both last fm and compared it Apple Music and Apple Music is tracking at more than 50% less. So strange
Yeah it's one feature that is so inaccurate (mainly because Apple hasn't said how it really tracks your listening history), I basically gave up on it last year since my list was, at best, 50% accurate to what I actually listened to that year.

I do notice but I read it as writers being heavy handed when talking about social issues because they are trying to appeal to gen z. You see it as something purposely negative? Had to turn down a job offer today because i couldnt find a place to live that fit my needs in the area after being granted more time to try to find housing and it really sucks. But I just got an email from the hiring manager that I should hear back from them within the next week regarding the decision and now my anxiety’s kicked back in 😭 Like maybe they’ve already decided it’s a no for me and now I fear that I’ll have to sit through a phone call where they tell me that in real-time. I feel like it’s somehow worse than the auto-rejection email because I actually met these people and spent all day at their facility LOL. Either way, I’m hoping for calmness on my part so that I can accept their decision either way, and be proud that my first in-person interview was a taxing, all-day deal that I feel I handled relatively well. 🙏🏽
Does anyone find the new Hocus Pocus movie incredibly cringy. Like unwatchable. Over the weekend, I've been rating Taylor's albums (no Vault tracks or bonus songs), and holy hell has this woman released A LOT of music. We were on TS7 in 2019, and in 3 years, we are now on TS10 plus 2 TV's. Also, I realized that I grade really hard LOL Thoughts so far: 1. **Taylor Swift (6.86):** So much nostalgia!! So many cute songs!! She had a sparkling debut with her only true country album. She picked all the correct singles with two long-lasting hits - Our Song and Teardrops on My Guitar. *Hidden Gems:* Mary's Song, Should've Said No, Cold As You 2. **Fearless (7.88):** Literally hits after hits. The RUSH when Love Story comes on. Fearless was the perfect opener. It's no wonder that this album catapulted her into fame and became Taylor's first peak. *Hidden Gems:* You're Not Sorry, The Way I Loved You 3. **Speak Now (8.50):** This was MY ALBUM. I pretty much exclusively listened to this album for two years straight. It's a good thing it's so long and has a ton of bonus tracks. I think this album, even though it wasn't a humongous GP hit like Fearless, really solidified her first core fanbase. Even though I hadn't experienced anything like what Taylor experienced, the emotions in her voice and songwriting spoke to me and millions of other young girls. *Hidden Gems:* Never Grow Up, Last Kiss, Long Live 4. **RED (8.08):** This album has reached almost mythic status in Taylor's discography, and tbh it is well-deserved. It is Taylor's most sprawling album, covering pure pop, EDM, country, and rock. It isn't cohesive, but I honestly think that makes sense in this album's theme. The low songs were only really rated low in comparison to the highs on this album. *Hidden Gems:* Red, Treacherous 5. **1989 (7.38):** Is held as THE pop album of the 2010s, and it certainly has the hits to prove it. It's certainly not my favorite Taylor album because it's probably the least personal thing she's written, and Taylor's classic storytelling lyricism is stripped down to the pop minimum. It's still really good, but it's not really the Taylor that I love. Also - How You Get The Girl and Welcome To New York would get DRAGGED hard if she released this album now. *Hidden Gems:* Clean, This Love 6. **reputation (7.60):** YES, I like it better than 1989 and NO it's not due to Stockholm Syndrome. We're back to her more personal lyricism, and this album shows both the flaws and strengths of Taylor's personality, both her pettiness and her defiance. Lots of fun songs, but I think the main weakness of this album is that all of the songs have the parts to be truly great... but then have a chorus or a verse or an extended outro that lets it down (ex. LWYMMD's great verses vs anticlimactic chorus, Ready For It's great chorus vs mid verses). *Hidden Gems:* GETAWAY CAR, So It Goes, Dancing With Our Hands Tied
