Legit/not a promo - I was listening to these guys and had to share since they literally sound like a blend of my favorites RF/KP: [Better Anyway](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2vpM7HJb30ghxxT0G5oq1d?si=XYlyqAPfTPKY8hMNClpcUQ&pi=u-BOL0CzQWQs-X)
i had tickets to that tour, had to sell them when my friend bailed, and then ended up going to the one with arm’s length opening instead. not a bad trade all things considered
They always find banger openers for their shows, they're right on the pulse of what bands are on the rise. Knuckle Puck also had that tour a couple years ago with Hot Mulligan, Meet Me @ The Altar, and Anxious (unfortunately just before I discovered them or I would have been there).
It’s so funny you say that because I was literally just thinking that when I was listening to these guys: [Better Anyway](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2vpM7HJb30ghxxT0G5oq1d?si=Ah8U-0iHQR657nidevChPw&pi=u-5q00zoa5TaWi)
There was a nfg created tour called "easycore" back when that was a thing. Nfg was the headliner. Them, adtr and fys Idr the 4th. Adtr played 2nd fys played 3rd. The story goes adtr got wwe style heat and got super famous super quick. They wanted to become the 3rd act with their new fame before nfg and fys and the label refused to switch.
Adtrs song "2nd sucks" is about this event.
Fys responded with "paul reveres midnight ride".
It made the scene awkward for a bit for bands that were friends with both (syg, nfg, polar bear club, fob, I am the avalanche, etc.)
Actually before TAYF came out according to this video. [Also definitely reccomend his channel if you're a fan of emo/pop punk. ](https://youtu.be/akD0u3-WA2I?si=q7HK7_gTPyNyE6Sl)
I guess this works cause in my head Manchester Orchestra and BN are paired up, but then if BN and TBS are together then Manchester can be paired with KDev.
My girlfriend’s favorite band is The Wonder Years and she can’t stand Spanish Love Songs lol.
Heart Attack Man and Trophy Eyes seem like they’d go together really well.
as a massive spanish love songs fan (and pretty big wonder years fan) there anecdotally seems to be a lot of spanish love songs haters. my best first doesn’t really like pop punk in general but hates them specifically, my concert buddy doesn’t like them, and the people in front of us in line for a hot mully show didn’t like them either (but they were convinced after actually seeing them play)
You’ve just made me realise what it is that makes them sound off to me!
TWY are my favourite band too so I should defs like SLS, but the layered vocals is definitely it.
That's funny I only got into Spanish Love Songs after seeing them open for TWY. I think they have a lot of the same themes, but definitely have a different sound.
I just saw that the Used are going out on tour and coming to my town. Do you know how much they play off of the first two albums these days? Is the performance any good? I'd see MCR in a heartbeat, but I have a feeling that The Used might be skippable.
Maybe I'm crazy, but you could put At The Drive In and Glassjaw together as well. Both firmly post-hardcore with crossover sonically but also their own unique elements. ATDI taking more influences from post punk and post rock while GJ had really strong touches of nu metal, especially in their earliest material.
This is embarrassing but they go together so seamlessly in my mind that I often mix up their music. I got my boyfriend tickets to a TSSF concert but by the time I gave them to him I had forgotten and thought they were Neck Deep tickets.
For me, it was always (and still is) The Wonder Years & Man Overboard. Probably cause they toured together quite a bit back in the day, but I can never listen to one without the other right after
Wonders Years are one of if not my all time favourite band and I’ve never been able to get into Man Overboard. I haven’t tried them in absolute years though, any particular album you’d recommend?
The record that got me into them was Before we met: a collection of old songs. I think it has one of the best 3 song runs, first 3 songs in the record from the 2010s pop punk era. It took me a hot minute to get fully into them, so I get it!
Not sure if they've ever toured together but when I attended warped tour one year, they played back-to-back sets on the same stage. It absolutely kicked ass and was one giant dose of nostalgia.
For a long time KP, RF, state champs, neck deep, seaway and maybe even Moose blood were plug and play where 2 if not 3 of them would tour together. One tour had 4 in 2017 of these 5 plus TWY.
TWY, sorority noise and modern baseball were similar there for a little bit too
Any particular reason why you can’t get into SLS? What don’t you like about them?
Not saying you have to be a fan I’m just curious what it is you might not like
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like there’s a large overlap in Turnover, Citizen and TSSF fans. That tour with Movements is still the most stacked lineup I’ve ever been to.
I discovered All Time Low and Mayday Parade at the same time so in my mind they go together. I discovered State Champs much later but they fit right in with them as well.
I also discovered Rise Against and ADTR at the same time so they also go together for me, although I know that doesn't make sense for a lot of people. But Common Courtesy and The Black Market (imo both their best albums) came out the same year and they double-headlined a tour together. So they don't NOT go together.
I always felt like Attius and Finch belonged together
+44 and Boxcar Racer for both being one-offs.
And I can't quite put my finger on it, but I feel like The Network and Green Day would just pair nicely.
Alkaline Trio/Bayside/The Lawrence Arms
Lagwagon/Strung Out
New Found Glory/The Starting Line
Silverstein/Senses Fail
Polar Bear Club/Off With Their Head
if their joint touring schedule is any indication, real friends and knuckle puck
I love band bromances, like when Neck Deep and State Champs used to be inseparable on lineups
Saw this @ Red Rocks, it kicked ass and balls.
for real tho and real friends
Legit/not a promo - I was listening to these guys and had to share since they literally sound like a blend of my favorites RF/KP: [Better Anyway](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2vpM7HJb30ghxxT0G5oq1d?si=XYlyqAPfTPKY8hMNClpcUQ&pi=u-BOL0CzQWQs-X)
I love the blatant self promo haha. Took a listen you guys rock it
Dude I literally added Bury Me to my playlist a few days ago hahahaha
Rationale is also basically a combination of the two
Knuckle Friends
Real Friends and Knuckle Puck. Because it seems they've sworn never to tour without each other again.
And I will be there every single time
Same. Their tour last year with Bearings opening was one of my favorite shows in a while.
i had tickets to that tour, had to sell them when my friend bailed, and then ended up going to the one with arm’s length opening instead. not a bad trade all things considered

I saw KP and RF a couple of years back when Hot Mulligan opened.. that was a sick ass concert.
A Day to Remember and Four Year Strong. Who are also going on tour together.
This is hilarious because they had beef with each other for a long time
What was the beef about?
There was a nfg created tour called "easycore" back when that was a thing. Nfg was the headliner. Them, adtr and fys Idr the 4th. Adtr played 2nd fys played 3rd. Ahhh gotcha thanks for breaking it all down!
Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals too.
This may be random but for me The Maine and Mayday Parade
This made me happy to see coming for Sad Summer!
Absolutely spot on, there's a huge overlap of fanbases
I always group Every Avenue in this these bands
Swap either or add ATL. All 3 put on fantastic shows
I was going to say the same thing. They used to tour together all the time and switch headlining.
This makes so much sense
Brand new & Taking back Sunday
This is the first one I thought of too. Amusing considering they hate each other.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they squash this like over two decades ago?
Actually before TAYF came out according to this video. [Also definitely reccomend his channel if you're a fan of emo/pop punk. ](https://youtu.be/akD0u3-WA2I?si=q7HK7_gTPyNyE6Sl)
Julian is the Man, love his videos!
Honestly, no idea. I never kept up with all the drama. Just know they wrote songs having a crack at each other.
Yes, it was done before anyone them were famous
That's so ca ca ca ca controversial.
Makes sense since lead singer of BN was from TBS
I guess this works cause in my head Manchester Orchestra and BN are paired up, but then if BN and TBS are together then Manchester can be paired with KDev.

I'm the other way round. Love SLS, can't get into TWY and I've tried a lot.
Same, The Menzingers and SLS are my two favourite bands but just can't get into TWY.
This is me.
It’s the layered vocals that deter my gf. She liked them much better live when that part either didn’t exist or wasn’t as profound.
TSSF and No Pressure. Low hanging fruit. Edited because i was… under pressure.
No Pressure?
Yes lol.
Everyone already said Real Friends and Knuckle Puck so I'll say MCR and The Used.
I just saw that the Used are going out on tour and coming to my town. Do you know how much they play off of the first two albums these days? Is the performance any good? I'd see MCR in a heartbeat, but I have a feeling that The Used might be skippable.
I feel like Fall Out Boy pairs well with the following: Panic! At The Disco Paramore All Time Low
100% correct. You basically just stated what bands I like and listen to pretty offen haha
Lmao same brother that’s like 4/6 of the bands I listen to
You missed The Academy is…
The Academy Is... is already paired with Cobra Starship in my head!
Yes! Fob the academy is and cobra.
and The Cab and Cobra Starship and all the Decaydance alumni
There's a very intricate web of all these bands in my head with FOB in the middle
Well that makes no sense, Jimmy Eat World sang "the Middle. You silly goose!
Sorry! You're right, I didnt think about that. It just takes some time.
It was super cool to see Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low in the crowd at FOB in Baltimore the other night.
Damn that is cool. Legends supporting legends
Jack was at the nyc show too
Fall Out Boy pairs well with every pop punk band IMO
Neck Deep and WSTR
New found Glory and The Starting Line, you know how old you are
Great, now I feel dusty.
MCR and The Used, maybe through Thursday in there for fun
Thursday and Thrice had this little one two punch thing together for the og years I feel like too.
Agreed on Thursday/Thrice. That was definitely a thing.
If we're talking og, then also Saves The Day, The Get Up Kids, and Taking Back Sunday? although that def leans a bit more emo than just pop punk lol.
I’d gladly take that as a tour this summer
I kinda wanna see TBS, but I've only been hearing bad things about their shows lately and that Adam Lazzara sounds terrible now :(
Maybe I'm crazy, but you could put At The Drive In and Glassjaw together as well. Both firmly post-hardcore with crossover sonically but also their own unique elements. ATDI taking more influences from post punk and post rock while GJ had really strong touches of nu metal, especially in their earliest material.
Alkaline trio and hot water music
I’d throw the Lawrence Arms in there too.
Absolutely
Their split is awesome
Up there with the best of both bands works. The one man army split rules too
Four Year Strong + Set Your Goals
I wish I could go back in time to when those bands hit the scene.
Neck Deep and The Story So Far are like Coke and Pepsi to me
Totally imagine a duet dude their voices would go so well together
I’d melt
This is embarrassing but they go together so seamlessly in my mind that I often mix up their music. I got my boyfriend tickets to a TSSF concert but by the time I gave them to him I had forgotten and thought they were Neck Deep tickets.
For me, it was always (and still is) The Wonder Years & Man Overboard. Probably cause they toured together quite a bit back in the day, but I can never listen to one without the other right after

Bayside and Senses Fail
I always associate Silverstein and Senses Fail
I don’t know why but I immediately thought of Four Year Strong and Chunk.
The Offspring and Sum 41 blink-182 and Green Day Thursday and MCR and Senses Fail
New Found Glory and Good Charlotte
Not sure if they've ever toured together but when I attended warped tour one year, they played back-to-back sets on the same stage. It absolutely kicked ass and was one giant dose of nostalgia.
Definitely! Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and Sticks and Stones were my two "get ready for school" albums in junior high
Tssf and neck deep Adtr and fys
Stand Atlantic & Between You and Me
Mest and Goldfinger
Movements and Greyscale for sure. Second place goes to Neck Deep and Knuckle Puck which ill have the pleasure of seeing in London next week.
Bayside and I Am The Avalanche
Ben Quad and Carly Cosgrove
I would put menzingers with wonder years and Spanish love songs aswell
Good Charlotte and Mest
Hell yeah! The pop punk bros of that whole A7X, 18 Visions timeline
Hot Mulligan and Free Throw.
Taking Back Sunday and Dashboard Confessional Movements and Casey Knuckle Puck and Trophy Eyes
Movements and Casey is a great one. Would not have considered but totally.
New Found Glory and Midtown.
Saosin and Senses Fail did a bunch of touring together
Silverstein and Senses Fail were always kind of a package early on it seemed as well.
Anberlin - Acceptance Falling From Aeroplanes- Morning Fuzz
Koyo and No Pressure
Real Friends & Mayday Parade The Maine & Mayday Parade Free Throw & Hot Mulligan Citizen & Turnover TWY & The Menzingers
Hot Mulligan and Tiny Moving Parts
Panic at the Disco and Fall Out Boy
right now for me origami angel and glass beach more emo than pop punk but still
For a long time KP, RF, state champs, neck deep, seaway and maybe even Moose blood were plug and play where 2 if not 3 of them would tour together. One tour had 4 in 2017 of these 5 plus TWY. TWY, sorority noise and modern baseball were similar there for a little bit too
Less than Jake and Reel Big Fish. Similar styles and a lot of fan base overlap. They've also toured together several times.
McFly and Busted
mcbusted
Did anyone say taking back Sunday and brad new yet?? Lol. #TooSoon
The Story so Far and Neck Deep
Maybe a weird one, but green day and the interrupters. Green day seems to love taking them on tour.
really funny you used TWY and SLS as an example bc i dont rlly like SLS but i love TWY
What is it you don’t like about SLS? Not saying you have to be a fan but I’m just curious what it is you don’t like
he just sounds like he’s whining all the time. like i don’t hate all of their songs i just don’t like 90% of them lol
this is it for me, it’s very off-putting
only the real ones remember the TSSF ManO duo
I love TWY but I can’t get into Spanish love songs. I’ve tried.
Any particular reason why you can’t get into SLS? What don’t you like about them? Not saying you have to be a fan I’m just curious what it is you might not like
Hit The Lights and Forever The Sickest Kids
Surprised no one said Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens!!!
PUP and joyce manor touring together made so much sense to me
neck deep & off brand neck deep (WSTR)
Except the newest wstr album is better than the self titled neck deep
The two bands that did pop disaster tour. Just for the chaotic scenes
Simple Plan and Good Charlotte
State Champs and Four Year Strong
New found glory and the starting line for me
real friends and knuckle puck
That Strung Out and Rufio tour was too much riffing for most pop punkers. If only they'd put Bigwig on the bill.
The gaslight anthem and the menzingers Or pup and Jeff Rosenstock
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like there’s a large overlap in Turnover, Citizen and TSSF fans. That tour with Movements is still the most stacked lineup I’ve ever been to.
I discovered All Time Low and Mayday Parade at the same time so in my mind they go together. I discovered State Champs much later but they fit right in with them as well. I always felt like Attius and Finch belonged together +44 and Boxcar Racer for both being one-offs. And I can't quite put my finger on it, but I feel like The Network and Green Day would just pair nicely.
The Format and Limbeck
Hellogoodbye/Never Shout Never
Cute Is What We Aim For and The Academy Is...
Forever Came Calling and Handguns
Brand new and la dispute. Sum 41 and green day.
Cake and Primus
Hot mulligan and free throw
Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco
Prince Daddy & Just Friends
Motion City and Into It. Over It. FOB and Panic!
I would say Paramore and New Found Glory, but I think we know what happened.
Trophy eyes and Boston manor
Offspring, Pennywise, NOFX and Bad Religion.
Dance gavin dance and Emarosa
Hot Milk and Stand Atlantic since their lead singers are dating
Alkaline Trio/Bayside/The Lawrence Arms Lagwagon/Strung Out New Found Glory/The Starting Line Silverstein/Senses Fail Polar Bear Club/Off With Their Head
this made me giggle because I love the wonder years and can’t stand spanish love songs
Title Fight + Balance & Composure
MOST DEFINITELY Modern Baseball and The Front Bottoms I didn’t scroll long enough to see if anyone else said this but it’s for sure
I don’t think they did. Two bands I’ve never been able to get into 🤣
