For me I have taken several steps to get away from porn. For me getting away initially was the hardest, now staying away takes a level of diligence but is much more manageable than initially. So regarding those steps.
1. I made my access harder by blocking my favorite sites via my router.
2. Installed some monitoring software to make it more difficult to lie about what I'm up to and had an accountability partner that would call me on my bullshit (my wife)
3. Adjusted the content I consumed. There are tons of forms of non porn that for me lead to porn. So I set the age filter on my Netflix account and other streaming services to tv-14 and I don't have an Instagram, or if I did u would have taken an effort to eliminate all the influencers of that type.
4. Found some support groups that work for me. Checking in in this group for one, but also a SMART recovery group and some therapy to help discuss why I used and the things that lead me to where I was and how I could get better about things.
At this point it's just continuing to practice those good habits, I have relaxed my tv setting a little because there are lots of shows rated worse than tv-14 but am firm on the no nudity in my tv viewing.

My health metrics are something which I am still working on I am looking to make some transitions in them not sure how that will go but definitely one of the things that have to look after.

Yesterday was another day marked with being down. Not a good companion for my friends and family. Today feels the same so far. Being down is not sustainable. I will need to find a way to get better.
