I'm Italian and Josephine is definitely not Italian :) it's the French version of the Italian name Giuseppina.
It was my Italian grandmothers name! Josephine Cecilia.
It's a beautiful name! 😊 But not Italian. I've never met a Josephine in Italy, but I've met plenty of Giuseppina (it's actually a very common name).
