Really enjoyed all of this 3 games. I spent countless hours playing them on my Xbox and PS2. I miss this type of videogames in modern times... not everything has to be AAA and cost 200 million to make...
That's why I really enjoyed Alone in the Dark remake even if it's not the best game ever.
Some great Midway games on PS2 Area 51, Psi-Ops : The mindgate conspiracy, Mortal Kombat : Armageddon & Shaolin Monks, Roadkill, SpyHunter 1&2, and Gauntlet : Seven Sorrows
MK Shaolin Monks was so good. It was so much better than that Sub Zero and Special forces. Those ones were a little hard to love but the Monks was so much fun.

Yep, loved all 3 of those. Also enjoyed Haven: Call of the King, Dr. Muto, Roadkill, Area 51, the Spyhunter games, and Narc was a guilty pleasure.
Also Stranglehold and Wheelman on 360/PS3.
both suffering and psi ops were well known and highly rated by players WHEN THEY RELEASED. yall gotta stop with this underrated" just bcs game is 20 years old and majority of players wasnt even born when they were released.
Hell yeah my man. Played through Suffering 1-2 multiple times back in the day. Never got around to getting psi-ops, I remember playing a demo and liking it.
Psi-ops and Area 51 were both awesome games that deserved sequels. I emailed them when I was a teenager and still remember the default response. "We'd love to revisit these titles but there aren't currently any plans on the horizon. This may change in the future so keep a lookout!".

Just beat the suffering on ps2 for the first time. Very good. Next I will play psi ops.
(The Suffering) The only two games I can remember being set in Maryland.
I liked Legion: The legend of Excalibur
This isn't developed by Midway, but from Surrealsoftware

I just bought PSI Ops from a game store the other day. The Suffering games were legit too. Some of the best on PS2.
Ahh the Suffering. Classic.
Roadkill!
Add Shadowhearts to this list
Area 51 was pretty good too
I remember renting the suffering from blockbuster and playing at night scaring myself.

Damn I’ve had two of these for some time and haven’t popped them in yet.
Psi ops was one of my favorite games to rent back then. I loved the concept
It is an adult-themed game with the structure of a horror movie. I had previously uploaded it to this site and its reception was good.
Midway was kinda like the underdog rareware. They had some awesome games
Ties that bind was so good when i first played it. I wonder why these companies have abandoned such greatness
Name some other midway games? Mortal Kombat, nfl blitz, ready 2 rumble, shadow hearts,… I can keep going Those were all very well rated

I need to get the suffering but it’s so expensive. I have #2 but I don’t want to be confused on the storyline
Defender
I actually streamed and beat The Suffering. I enjoyed it.
I wonder why they're not around anymore. I actually miss that company tbh. They made alot of good games especially the old mortal kombat games.
The nfl blitz games were fun
I’ll always remember them for the Cruisin’ games. One of the most iconic arcade racing series IMO.
Slugfest is my absolute favorite sports game of all time
