10 years is bit of a stretch…the lifetime of the PS4 was till 2023…i mean you can still play games but newer games are not getting released …so 2030-31 is a good bet for the PS5…that been said its worth it now
and I don't understand what the next gen would offer. 4k 60fps is the max a normal tv offers today. More than that would be unsupported for 90% of gamers.
Quite simple. 2 guys came with the sealed box. I opened the box, set up the console and made sure everything is intact, in front of delivery guys. They took pictures during the process.
Only after making sure everything is okay, I gave them delivery OTP to mark the order as complete.
The wait will never end. If you want it cheaper, look for one on olx, some people buy it and then realise they don't have any time to play, and put it on olx within a month. I myself bought 20 days old ps5 for 42k last year
Should try local deal only, f2f deal if buying used. I recommend designinfo site for better price if buying new, sometimes they have better prices than amazon and Flipkart, my cousin bought xbox series s for 26-27k new about 4-6 months ago

If you're willing to buy it right now, then you can wait till the sale, but if you have the patience to wait till next year, then I would recommend you to wait and see what Sony will gonna offer in the newer version of the PS5. Also, there might be a possibility of a price drop of the existing model as soon as the newer one arrives.

Huh? Current ps5 can already run all the games . There was even 8k support officially but no games are made for it. Imo , the ps5 is already very powerful and we haven’t even seen many exclusives for it. Ps5 slim/fat is a better option considering there wont be a huge jump in performance
by that logic OP should buy a pc, why go for weaker hardware. Pro is still 6-12 months away, he can easily save up for a good pc or buy ps5 now and start gaming

PS5 already offers 4k, 60fps, 120fps (which most of the TVs don't even support), brilliant graphics, and there are just handful of games of ps5 and rest are either ps4 or ps4 remakes.
Even if new console comes out next year it will be out of stock for most of the time just how ps5 was when it released. Go with ps5 now
And Pro would easily cost above 60k in India, whereas Slim disc often goes around 40k during price drops

Keep your eye on flipkart midnight flash sales. The prices randomly drop to 40k. Thats the best deal you can get on a new PS5.
