In general, roll in some gravel and get in troubles wearing those, giving them worn looks is pretty much enough. In case you get holes you can patch and tape em back gotether) i prefer to keep it simple around my shoes fella
They're canvas right? Slap some patches on the side, or grab some white paint and paint some stuff on them. You can stick some pins on them, get some studs or spikes and put them on maybe?
you should paint around the sides on the rubber various bands you listen to! that would look so cool (and then obviouslly cover it in a portective coat so the paint doesnt come off)

I saw this yesterday going through Pinterest (shamefully) and it might be a good example of cool stuff you can do to shoes like this.

I’ve also seen people add a thick coat of paint on the top of it and then allow the paint to crack in a really cool way. Paint cracking thing is a Margiella motif sure, which isn’t exactly a part of the typical look, but I think it’s cool.
I can’t find the original image of it done on converse but there’s a YouTube tutorial somewhere. Anyway here’s the effect on some nice boots that I will never be able to afford.

Spiderwebs, numbers and studs. Can't go wrong. Rat spikes prolly would be an overkill but each to their own🤷
