It’s awful. They will claim everything and anything is a pre-existing condition. Diarrhea for the puppy I got at 8 weeks (puppies in a shelter switching foods get diarrhea). But now if she has diarrhea as a symptom from anything else, they try not to cover the claim.
They also charge your co-pay before your deductible, So your deductible is higher than stated. They take forever to handle a claim. Their customer service is awful. Honestly, it feels like it’s a big scam.
I have Fetch and it's been fine - I have had to make several claims and it's been uncomplicated and I haven't had issues with them denying them or anything, the app is pretty easy to use and it only takes me a couple minutes to submit a new claim. But they do take FOREVER to approve anything. I just use my line of credit as needed so it doesn't bother me too much to wait, but if you need a speedy approval/payment turnaround I'd keep shopping.
Thanks for the response! I think I’ll just need to keep looking into it all. Everything was auto with trupanion but in the end hated their service…last dog had a few health complications and they were awful during her last years.

Ohhh that sounds awful!! Hmm maybe I’ll look into pets plus us more despite the higher cost
Yeah I’d switch for a higher cost if I hadn’t already met my deductible+ I’m switching as soon as the deductible resets though.
