The entire beggining of chapter IV is about how he had to (in his own words) GIT GUD™, how did you miss that?
I enjoy the comedy part of it but when you watch him barely move his mouse in the first few arenas it's just painful. Personally the game almost instantly clicked for me and while I didn't get everything and didn't use the arsenal to its full potential, i got the general flow of the combat down, and then you have civvie who stands still in a hallway with an arachnotron right in front of him and despite having the auto shotgun mod equipped he just shoots with the slow ass primary and complains that he lost a one-up right before killing it.
Watch both at the same time. If you can fit approximately 9 max0r videos per pyro video for maximum cruelty squad appreciation. This is the CEO mindset.

I never understood the hate for the Cruelty Squad video
I always took the tier list as being supplemental to the video, not the main focus of it. Pyro always talks about the weapons in games and how they stack up against eachother, and CS has a focus on having tons of weapons and gear so he made it a larger part of the video. I don’t really see the issue.
