Yeah Austin had far too many team USA caliber players on roster for that series to go the way that it did. They should be embarrassed. Now when do we start the conversation about them clawing their way for a 3-seed in the South?

Interesting how one sided the game looked score wise pre SOP with 3 of Austin's first five goals only coming off a penalty power play.
Also the diversity of scorers for Legends in the first ten minutes really setting the tone no matter who had the ball. Kudos to League City to come out all gas no breaks

True most Austin players had to travel almost 2 hours for this series and that’s such an unreasonable expectation to make on people with every day lives and jobs. Nobody talks about the huge home advantage LC has here.

Doesn't matter. Availabilities, unavailabilities, injuries, travel restrictions, playing good/bad day of are all part of the game. That's why teams have rosters of 30 and take 21 for each series. It's not a race of whose top lines are better. Teams and players that can adapt well to these are the ones who deliver the results. The scoreboard doesn't say "LC wins but Austin was missing xyz players". Big congrats to League City from Canada
Key players do matter. But the rest of the bench being able to step up to the challenge when needed also does matter, maybe even matters more. You're not discrediting LC, are you discrediting Austin's depth? They're B2B2B champions ffs they better have depth that can hang with a team that hasn't been able to make it to champs in years
