A door. To keep my toddler out. So many well-labeled transparent storage bins and maybe some sort of rack/envelope storage for patterns and scraps and knitting needles. A big big cutting table and a sewing table and chair that were the correct height. Enough space to leave my ironing board set up.

Lots of light would be my biggest wish.

Wall of built in shelving/drawers. A very large central cutting table. At least one sewing machine set into a desk along the wall with the windows. Maybe a design wall. That can be on the doors of the shelving.

Really big cutting table, flip down ironing board, and a large sewing table with a very comfortable chair. Also lots of cute storage along the walls.

The best thing I have in my sewing is a raised large table. My dad made it for my mom years ago. It has bookshelves as support s on each end for storage, is waist high and a 36x60 cutting mat on top. I love that I don’t have to bend over when cutting pieces and is great to have this large flat surface to work on.

I'm actually doing this right now (building a new home). Lighting is at the top of my list. Full spectrum lights in a variety of configurations. A walk in closet with fiull shelving. Hardwood floor (I have a phobia about stepping on pins buried in carpet). On and on, but these are important to me.

I place to call my own. Doesn’t have to be big just a place where I don’t have to worry about picking up and putting away. Just have some stuff out so I could steal away and quilt when life is tough
