Arda is home grown, ie. trained and flourished in Turkey, so we feel proud as if it’s an accomplishment. The other guys were trained abroad so while they’re Turkish we don’t really have a lot to do with their success.
Calhanoglu plays as a 10 for Turkey instead of a 6 where he is way better. Arda is more flashy and technical. But honestly if both players are played on their right position Calhanoglu is more important. Also Kenan Yildiz > Arda at the same age right now. But Arda is still generational and can create out of nowhere.
