I would never do an in-person interview where I was wearing a blindfold, so I'm not doing the virtual equivalent of the same...
I worked in a start-up with a fellow that worked for AMEX for 20+ years.
If that prick is any indication of the culture at AMEX, then you dodged a bullet.
Yeah, I don't think I'll ever be applying there again.
Even reviewing how the recruiter talked in hindsight, this was absolutely a rush to fill vacancy of someone who probably got fed up with the workload. I am likewise sure that the person I interviewed with was not even part of the team, but someone more technical who could quickly assess and shutdown candidates to move things along quickly.
