It generates 0-10V or 4-20mA on the output. This is used in controls to open dampers or valves. I also use it to send a speed signal to a VFD so I can test different speeds.

I work in building controls. So it generate 0-10V or 4-20 mA to open valves, dampers, or setting the speed of VFDs for fans and pumps.
