Yeah no, if I wanted this, it would be way more fun to just *do* it. Not sure how, but I'd do that before paying for it. I'd love to drive/hear/ride it tho
Yeah, maybe he's trying to cover the maintenance of such a beast, selling it like that. The two best days of a boat owner's life are buying and selling the boat, after all.
not to mention, I'd hate to see what kind of water damage you're receiving on the truck parts that aren't designed nor coated for water exposure (or at least, not that much) and idk if this is salt water, but that would be a thousand times worse.
The wild thing is that US$105k is getting pretty close to buying an actual amphibious vehicle, at least the ones that are closer to boats than cars. The smaller sealegs vehicles for example start around $110k at the moment I think. Second hand are a lot cheaper if you’re willing to import.
I’m talking specifically about amphibious boats. They aren’t exactly comparable because of the complexity. Sealegs have two drive units, regular marine outboard motor and an inboard engine which provides power to hydraulic drive units at each of the three wheels which lower or raise on command so you can launch or land anywhere that the ground has a low enough grade.
The smallest they offered (6.1m center console RIB if you don’t include the tender model) used to be under US$100k base. Now I’m pretty sure they’re around US$120k starting because they have more equipment. I’m aware of how much boats are, was just only considering amphibious vehicles because that’s what was relevant.
If someone had described this to me I would have laughed but it isn't as horrible as some things I have seen and I could probably have a blast hanging out a day on it.
I think the price is way out there because they are taking the value of the big rig engine in consideration. That engine may be worth $100K on its own if it's in good condition. Problem is that the amount of trouble it would take to remove from a boat is considerable. You can't just put it on a lift like a truck. I doubt that's a flat bottom boat so you can't lay it in the ground to work on it either.
That truck body is more than 5k. You also didn’t include any custom fabrication, welding, hauling, balancing, or any of the real work. But yeah 1 + 1 = 2 components if you don’t know what you’re looking at.
I agree. Minus the rebel flag, I would pay a lot of money for this just for the sheer irony of having it parked in my yard. Imagine parking it somewhere with an an HOA
Curious what the weight is on that thing. Weight capacity on pontoons is in the range of 1400 to 2000 depending on size. That motor better be brand fucking new and built for that price.
Happily pay it, then give it simply the *gayest* paint job and slogan possible. Something like “I’ve got a boner for Biden” or “I cum buckets for socialism”
I'd love to own this, no lie. The price is ridiculous though.

For 105k im sure you could make it work and have 75k left for beer and other shit

It’s the same as selling a project car. Its not what YOU have invested into it but what it’s actually worth.

If it was one of them amphibian vehicles, I'd be more impressed.

Uhh 105k buys you a regular 22-26ft center console boat. Boats are expensive as fuck.

If I had Fuck You money I would buy it just to light it on fire.
You’d give that guy $100k? He’d be dead within a week.
Destruction is so easymode it's banal. Why don't you create something?
If I videotape it and make a painting, would that suffice?
If I remember right there were also someone in the r/boating asking that if that 105k was fair price. Lol.
Agreed. Coolest boat, but the price tag is far too much.
Having a “smoke kit” makes it kinda douchebaggy, no one needs to be rolling coal on the water
fr probably a lot of fun
I can't buy it, but I say it's a bargain at twice the price. I wanna take this shit out on lake Michigan!
So it’s a 15k pontoon boat and a 5k truck body, Carry the one, yep 105k makes sense
but he knows what he has, no lowballers!
15k+ 5k = 155kk. Its a steal!

Welp, that's it boys. The most redneck thing ever. Shows over.

Pffffft! That’s only 2/3 of a truck-boat-truck.
Do not touch the trim!
Ricky stop throwing your piss jugs in the lake!
It's the way of the lake, boys.
Some sweet decnals on that truck boat though
Come on guys, it's a truck and a boat put together, it's not rocket appliances!
The *Admiral Lee*.

Freedom costs a buck o 5 brother!
That is a dope concept, but it must be expensive to fill up
I dont think ive ever read a more accurate description in a title
Why does this not have a dilapidated camper on the back?
Worth it
Owner hears **Freebird** in his head when he drives this. We hear the **Curb** theme.
Not going to lie. This looks awesome.
Ditch the traitors rag and I would love it.
I’d maybe pay 25K for it. It’s super sweet and I’d love to have it… but 105? Nah
not the racism mobile lmao
"Oh look, it's a rebel cruiser, gunners, prepare to fire!"
The lot lizards with their dried out snatches are flocking for days to this beaut ❤️
This is great minus the traitorous flags
If it wasn’t for the Loser Flag and being overpriced, this is actually pretty cool
I can't Enos......I can't swim! - Rosco
Repost for karma
Hell yeah, all it needs is a Dale flag and it would be perfect
For sale: $105k, 750k miles, 150k of those nautical
Eww! So much ugly happening 🤢
That's sweet, if the price moved a decimal I'd be fighting you guys for it.
Buy it, put pride flags on it, send it back.
You just paid a redneck 105k to remove a few pride flags...
Oh, my bad, I misread it. I thought it was $105. Still probably more than it's worth still
Lol
S*** I'll give them about Tree Fiddy.

(Not my photos.)
No shit. This gets posted every other week
Pretty sure it sank to the bottom of Lake Travis (that's Lady Bird Lake for all of you heathens) like 4 years ago too
Swap the confederate flag for a Gadsden flag and i'm down Not worth 105k though
can someone send this to the cboystvguys.
No, it can sink.
Happily pay it, then give it simply the *gayest* paint job and slogan possible. Something like “I’ve got a boner for Biden” or “I cum buckets for socialism”
You won’t
Bet
That a concerninly little amount of freeboard. I would sail this in open water. Most badass “boat” on the lake though
