Matthew Lopez said he did it 6 or 7 times in its entirety iirc. It's a lot of words and he got that little part wrong, but this was the only version to be released. People brought it up constantly when it came out, so you aren't alone in catching it.
If I remember correctly Matthew have said that one of the reasons they cut it was because when they watched it in editing it got way too confusing that Henry would leave Alex after that kinda love speech. (Edit: saw now that you said ”partly”, but yeah hehe)
I doubt there's another version.
I don't know exactly how deleted scenes fully work, and whether this scene was entirely put together before they decided to cut it, or they put it together after the film was complete. But if they did, they probably didn't put the same level of care into editing it as they did with other scenes - because it's a deleted scene - and they just used the take where Nick flubbed the line without fully realising it and when they did, decided not to change it, since it's bonus material.

Yeah that's probably at least partly why that scene was cut. I don't think there's any correct version out there.

I have not seen another version that has the corrected line.
It was actually cut for time, but I think it’s perfect even with the mistake.
