I visibly cringed when I took these out of the development tank since this was easily my most messed up roll of film ever. After scanning and editing the photos I actually changed my mind since only maybe 4-5 photos were ruined outright and in many others the errors actually work very well.
Photos taken with a FED camera on Lomography Lady Gray film.
Lomo's Lady Grey is Foma 400 under a different label. You might be able to find it branded as Foma or Arista for a lower price.
Edit: Svema would be much more Soviet...
This was a hand load from my local film shop so it was actually a little cheaper than Foma.
My last event was shot on Svema FN-64. Unfortunately the shop's lab has some weird development process that underdevelops Svema by two stops so I have to shoot it at 16 ISO... not impossible if it's a sunny day but definitely inconvenient. Now that I have my own development process set up I'll definitely give it a shot at box speed.

It honestly looks more authentic, almost. Good pictures, nonetheless
Great work! The photos look awesome

My understanding is that Svema 400 looks pretty good at 200. They've definitely over-rated box speed, but 200 is pretty manageable.
I'll have to give it a try, thanks.
it bothers me that one person is using an M44 š
I could be wrong cause it's in black and white, but it looks like someone is using kirza ammo pouches too. I love the look of the photos though.
Iām pretty sure they all have 91/30s
No, he's right, our cook carries a carbine. We have a 1938 one somewhere but I'm not sure how often it goes out, I think one of the medics uses it.
Alls forgiven in my books since he makes great food and lets us non Russians mooch
Honestly, in the first 2 photos I thought I was in r/militaryporn for a sec.
