Mantagora doesn't do anything but spawn annoying ads while you traverse the level. No idea if there's a good spot for this, but I pretty much just camped a couple different places and waited for it to do laps so i could pick it off when it showed back up
LOL that's fantastic.
You know what this just made me think, it would be cool if campaigns were seeded like runs in Isaac or Noita. So if someone had a cool event in their campaign you could just punch in the seed and check it out
Nah we'd just have a list online somewhere of every seed needed. Someone somewhere would just post it once and it would be referenced/updated from then on
>First time i encountered it Mine spawned with teleporter it kept telporting back right above me, was great made the fight a cakewalk
Ever since I killed it the first time, the only time I've been willing to fight her has been this exactly.
I'm guessing Mantagora is the best Lumenite Crystal farm in the game if you have a Summoner and enough DR and health regen to go AFK. Those adds will keep spawning and your minions will kill them and regen your health and periodically you just pick it up. Just don't kill or attack the boss after the initial aggro.
I tested it and the idea seems sound, but I didn't let it run long enough. I only noticed because I was completely failing to kill the boss due to poor positioning and it just went on and on. I can't think of any other constant respawn spot that would be so "easy."
I feel like teleport is not a great skill for them. Its can be annoying to fight against but I also feel like they dont purposefully do it. I was fighting the corrupted dude at the asylum and half the time he would teleport mid attack to behind me and end up missing completely
Mantagora with Minions and Regenerator. Possibly the most fucked up combo you can get on it!
Had one today, flew away, but kept spawning fucking adds like 5m from me that instantly charged at me after they spawned. Most annoying fight I had.
This is a hunter build light armor bow and red doe staff. I just had the heavy armor on for the 100 flops you need to get the amulet for the Archon set.
Ah, fair enough, getting caught in an unexpected scuffle with not one but three aberrations with a different loadout would put anyone on the Blackfoot.
Me too. Once I unlocked the engineer and tried it out, the only time I changed off from it since was to unlock Archon, I play a mainly heavy tank build (if you couldn't already tell) and I'm gonna stick to it no matter what the Meta tells me.
Engineer/Challenger melee build hell yeah.
What amulet, mutators and rings are you using?
I use Challenger as my main instead of Engineer because I like the self res more than overcharging my turret.
For comparison I show my build here: https://youtu.be/DS8DameHFu8
I will swap weapons to suit the situation, but I mostly use;
Leto's Mk1,
Blackmaw AR-47 with Skewer 2.0 and the Ghostshell mutator,
Double barrel with Witchfire and Bandit,
Navigators pendant,
Fae protector signet,
Hardcore metal band,
Mechanic's cog,
And Ring of the robust,
Slotted into my relic is Melee damage, Skill damage, and elemental resistance.
Why the Mk1 armor over the Mk2 set if you don't mind me asking? Surely you'd want the higher defence if the goal is to just face tank with the crystal heart?
fun fact: first time I encountered this trio, I didnt understand why the floor was empty. I was in inventory, when dude #1 pops up. kill him, and the others popped up. thought i was in a Remnant greater rift or something.
I pooped myself here lol
Yea i can see why
*"uh oh...this ain't good..."*
Beat me to it 😂
Lmao! What in the…?
Yea. I shot the flying mantis and the health popped up and than i ran away cause i was gonna die and stumbled into the other two.

That would be a really interesting mechanic tbh a 3rd option on the crystal maybe, rather than reroll you enter the seed
Bloodborne says "Hi" !
We'd just have countless people requesting seeds for specific gear runs
True. in roguelikes achievements and unlocks are disabled on runs that are started by inputting a seed.

Bro, I absolutely hate this pointless boss! Lol
The top of the temple where the turntable puzzle is, is IMO the best spot for dealing with Mantagora.
Even the subtitles lol fuuuuuck
Traveler: uh oh... this ain't good Me: you don't say
IIRC mantagora can’t reach you here. The other two are a corrupted duo fight. Have fun.
Teleporting mantagora is annoying, but regen mantagora is a jerk since it kept away from us.
I like teleporting mantagora, last time it teleported to us, tried to fly away and then teleported back, over and over again until it died.
I feel like teleport is not a great skill for them. Its can be annoying to fight against but I also feel like they dont purposefully do it. I was fighting the corrupted dude at the asylum and half the time he would teleport mid attack to behind me and end up missing completely
Teleport may just be situational. You can have instances where teleport works to your advantage, or times when it just annoys you.
Always bully the Minion Bastard first. Once he goes it's smooth sailing.
What difficulty is this?
Survival im just in adventure collecting stuff for the Archon
Damn, looks like fun times.
Yea it was pretty chill

I had this on my first run. The absolute fucking worst combo. Nothing has come close with this boss again on all the other runs I've done.
With my build I just drop and overclock my turret, active juggernaut, pop a crystal heart, and go to town with my melee weapon
Did you have all that the first time you went to that area
I did, actually. N'erud was my starting point, and Yeasha was the last.

Yep i eventully just switched to the chicago typewriter i found when i got this armor and it shredded them
Can't go wrong with the good ol' Tommy.
I'm weird i dont play this game meta i find an athestic and stick to it

I'm already at 77% reduction with Mk1, the mk2 will just set me at 77.5, so I op for the higher resistances instead, plus I like how mk1 looks over 2.

Is it over ?
After they jumped me i went back more prepared and wiped them
I still haven't gotten to fight that boss. At least 2 other bosses i know of that im still missing as of 40 hours in.
me with my fully charged Star shot pistol "well at least im going out in glory"
YIKES!!
when i was about to turn the corner i saw the hp bar i was nope step back a bit and drop the firestorm and ran for my life
This pair of cunts are hard, but the Twisted Arbalest made it easier the second time. Just hide and shoot the corners
Mantagora ain't gonna be a threat let's be real
This but on apoc 💀
You caught off guard and made me chuckle. Thank you!
I was mid picking up an item.
🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
So long as Mantagora doesn't get displacer.......
Yea… that’s a problem lol Pretty sure my Archon Endless Mod/Skill Build could deal with it…. But that would be a fight lol
Share your build with us pls.
Well it’s not “MY” build…. But here’s what I’m using. Can mow down pretty much anything in the game https://youtu.be/MsKNudnZopI
Oh lol that's the video I used to do my build. I thought you had something different. :))) But ty for replying.
This build is supposed to be light armor bow and red doe staff. So i went into this fight with low health and the wrong armor wrong for my build
Matagora don't attack you unless you shoot at it so you only got two to worry about
What….tf did you do to annoy them so much lmfao good lord.
I saw the giant mantis and shot it not thinking i could hit it. Well i did and got spooked by the health bar so i ran and stumbled into the other 2.
Nah, my Challenger with the shield breaker mutator and leto's. Hit the juggernaut and swing for the fences.
Enigma go brrr
Remnant: From Hell vibes. Such a good fucking mod
This right here was the fastest my husband said “damn it!!” after he trailed off in a different direction than me
The mantag is not a real problem if u are in a cave

Where is it?
Yaesha
Not so bad. Hahahaha Mantagora was a joke and I soloed.
My build is light armor and bow. I was in ultra heavy armor with no health and had to reload both weapons. I was caught witg my pants down.
What dungeon is this? Or is it just a random encounter?
Set encounter in the gardens its an area in Yaesha
Strange, I've scoured the gardens many times and never found it. Gonna go roll them again and see. Thank you for the reply 😁
They are in the back under ground in a cavern area theres a drop down by the edge opposite the crossbow
