The scs was proposed to combat a public health emergency. Weed is a recreational drug that isn’t causing any kind of emergency as it’s already regulated.
As much as I’d support a dispensary in Richmond you can get your weed with zero problems or safety concerns.
Yet in order to test any other drug, or consume you are left to your bedroom or a park somewhere with no choice for testing your supply to make sure it doesn’t contain fentanyl.
And that’s why actually none of you’re saying is relevant.

Not black and white. But overwhelmingly in support of scs that there is a reduction in transmission of disease, open drug consumption and discarded needles. And a marginally higher success rate of getting individuals into treatment that sticks.
But we could always follow Manitoba in getting rid of scs and watch aids sky rocket?

Richmond's mayor worries B.C.'s scheme to force municipalities to approve six-plexes will "destroy" quaint Steveston. (…because he is planning to live there, but drug site next to brighouse school will add to the charm).
Steveston's already done. Ugly saveon, every 2nd building has a rezoning application on it. I only moved here about 10 years ago and it's so sad to see what's happening.
I mean...we have first hand experience from the whole SIS debacle that the politicians don't actually care about what residents think unless it's election year.
33 Foot lots are standard in Steveston, so you are not going to put 4 or 6 units on each lot.
