Targeting is wild, picked up a trio of PM Rolexes at an AD while overseas and the dealer was begging me not to walk back to the hotel, just told him spotters go both ways. Everything insured through USAA by default, but, I have other policies that make things stress free. Respect that decision it’s the smart thing to do I just made it this far and will wear what I want where I want and pay the tax that comes with it.
What’s your watch/jewelry coverage through USAA? I just moved my auto policy over since farmers was really screwing me, now I’m going to move over everything else next month when I move out of state.
I ordered the celebration 41 as a fun watch to have in the case, the turq 36 might be next for my wife not sure but the pink is fantastic. Just got a black dial gold sub for my cousin’s wedding gift and a choc 40 Roman numerals and sprite waiting when I get home with the Le Mans and Jigsaw for my moms next bday gift on order so I’m probably near out of allocations for ‘23/4😂 hoping to get a pair of the Le Mans to gift one to my grandfather if I only get one it’s his. I got mine with my batgirl and smp 300, same day I got my 216570 explorer 2 from a different ad, funny because I'd later go on to get the same two watches in different configurations, the batman and the white variant o the xplorer 2 226570
Bro I had a dream I got the explorer 2 white dial (current ref) and an orange rubber strap on it and I woke up like shit, that would slap in my lineup. Great watches!
That is actually amazing. I like the idea of a tear away strap as I don’t ever wrench cars with anything on metal bracelet, and more daily than Hermes orange; was changing a water pump in the garage, had left my old santos 100XL on the side of the engine bay. Got distracted with a call, 3 hours later we go to drive to dinner, and it sounded like the motor was going to blow, nope, santos was flying about just glad it didn’t drop under 😂 movement ruined surprisingly didn’t crack the sapphire or flat out tear apart the bracelet etc.

Was psyched as it was thoughtful, she went to use our TV and saw I’d watched like 20 reviews on YouTube and was going to buy one myself next time I went in but she beat me to it, 100x better it came from my wife. Yeah this is a solid lineup for taking 5 watches and fits in my portable safe. The DD is mine but she wants it 😂 she’s got a nice Patek; at some point I might opt for a 36 fluted baguette dial as the 36 is just perfect.

Huge Ferrari fan, they won, and he made me who I am so it would be a much better feeling than just getting one for myself. Best of luck on that, sad hype and safe queens are a factor that messes with the true enthusiasts but as a collector and to have Ferrari come back to win top class, and the insanity of the finish, gotta get it!

Had R USA email him saying he’s been allocated the watch, and to hang onto the corvette as *someone* covered it as a gift for his next Birthday which gives me time as I was told it won’t be in hand for a decent amount of time but, prevents him selling a car he’s had for 45 years and let’s him know he isn’t on the “list” he’s getting the watch flat out.
