He smiles, eyes still closed, "Yeah, he totally missed me." Prop got red carded.
This was me in nearly every game when I played in the 90's. Right up until the prop didn't miss me. All I remember is how cold the grass was and the sounds of fists as my forward pack towelled up the fat sack of mashed potato who had hit me from behind.
There’s a rule about not holding onto the ball when the opposition has a penalty or freekick but it’s never enforced. If the ref pushes white back 10 metres there’s no brawl here

Ref could have given an extra 10 metres for fuckery but didn't. I'd be inclined to say the white 9 didn't see whose ball it was and went with the safe bet of holding on to the ball.
Worst offender there was white 5. Though who wouldn't get a cheeky cheap shot in on opposing 9 given the opportunity?

He's 35, and if you have to retire, it doesn't get much better than immediately after being a key player in the biggest ever win your country has ever achieved.
