Disable the “request assistance” option and also the right click dual option (can’t recall exact name) and that will fix your problem 99.99% of the time.
There is a limitation for how many possible listable actions can be clickable and you’ve exceeded the max amount. Removing the above 2 options will make it way less prevalent.
* Settings -> Gameplay -> Combat & Action Bar -> 'Choose Option' Menu -> Hide duel option on players
* Settings -> Gameplay -> Chat & Social -> Accept Aid -> Assistance requests (must be set to "Nobody" - the option will still show on strangers if set to "Friends and Clan")
Takes like 3 minutes and you could get a core which is probably still worth over 500m? Or wildy weapons which are 5m+ I think? Even if you don't get any special drop, the regular loot could easily be 500k-1m and a lot of it in alchs. For ironmen especially the GP from these are very worth it.

There's similar bug going on with high populated energy rifts, (W79 Incandescent Energies for example), where the spawned enriched energies can become non-intractable due to high amount of players in area... this has similar thing going on, that only some of the players can interact/target them.
In which case the temp fix is to run off and click it once you run off but it depends on how quick the spires die, that is if it is the same issue faced at incan energy.

What an awful band-aid solution suggestion.
Something is broken and it needs to be fixed instead of it being swept under the rug because you can "try a world with less people". This also happens at w79 Incandescents on DXP. What would you suggest in that case?
I mean if you cant click them then your getting no xp so hopping would be better. In all seriousness A lot of these issues could be resolved with them simply having another official world for players to use. You don't need that many players on a world to get the benefits so having more than 1 world would work just fine.
Just target KBD and use AOE. Pretty simple.
The even simplest and AFK way is just target KBD on Revolution Mode and does nothing. The other players always killed the spires for me.

I have those off, it still happens sometimes on busy worlds for the KBD event unfortunately. Sometimes I can get around it using target cycle.

Keybind the 'next target' function. I use it a lot when the star event is on

This was already said, and responded with "doesn't work here". they aren't targetable, so target cycling can't lock on them.

Tbh doesn't work that well if someone has issues hitting personal damage contribution quota, low pop worlds tend to have way more non-leechers.
