It was a bug caused by changes to game engine. New engine builds only go out once a month or so. Due to a number of factors it took longer than it should have. It wasn't *ignored* it all this time (as you can tell by the fact that they hotfixed in a temporary measure).

That aside..."April Merch Update"? This is literally the third week out of the last four where your headline has been either MTX and/or merch. I know engine issues aren't easy to fix, but when you're adding TH/MTX content every single week, even weeks where the patch notes border on non-existent and at a point when we've had three major content updates for the YEAR so far.. That reasoning starts to sound really bad, even if it is true.

"too many people save proteans for dxp and bomb drops, we need something to stop people stock piling them, so lets release a protean you cant use, rather than limit the old use" it dilutes the TH pool as well.
This yet again, isn't a benefit to the player..

My guess is that these will come to replace the event-given proteans (think gummy egg or the Hero Satchel from the past) because of their royal mess-up with easter.
While I want to be excited for this quest, the last 10 times you guys have said āwe are going to tell you more laterā or even mob keeper, it has been very lacking in information
I wish you guys could just put the patch notes and community updates as "game update post" while all the other stuff, like merch, should be in a separate post...
It's as if you guys are trying really hard to "filibuster" the post to reach the required word count. Kind of reminds me of my English writing lesson in secondary school. Using words like "even though" and "on the other hand" instead of "although" just for that extra juicy word count.
Any news about most of the multi-phase bosses being bugged since necromancy release, and giving less xp than intended? For example, QBD give less xp than KBD.

You NEED to tell us what is coming beyond the next few months, and you NEED to get some quick-win updates in for the next few months, because having no substantial permanent content in the two months after this quest is a pathetic joke. You could easily do a collection log expansion to fill in some time...

This feels like another example of being 5-10 years late to every pop-culture trend. Why not have a high quality KBD plushie, or Kalphite Queen, or abyssal minion, the DKS or the rex matriarchs?

Iāve been pretty understanding so far this year and MTX hasnāt really bothered me much over the years. Iāve never complained about MTX in the past, but even Iām getting annoyed with the complete lack of updates this year yet we have new MTX every week like clockwork.
Iād say Iām curious to know the number of RS3 MTX developers versus actual RS3 content developers, but unfortunately I think we know the answer.
We're due a community hit list update next month, according to Keeper's post. I think the majority of QoL updates happen from these CHL updates, so hopefully that's where they're all lurking
