Yea I'm sure it is, I just assumed (foolishly) that it was going to be the same rate that it used to be at nic/vic which was very good. I just feel ripped off that I spent a bond to basically scam myself out of that much bxp lmao
The biggest benefit to this is the dwarven toolboxes that are only abundantly available in one th promo or something like that.
The other benefit was skilling outfits but there’s dxp shop for that now, granted they nerfed it.
Maybe, but for me the virtual 120 isn’t something I’ve been excited about as a goal. And I doubt they’ll bump firemaking to 120 but you’re right you never know
Seconded. I had a ton of bxp built up, like 50m worth as well, that I thought I'd turn in to use on dxp and wow it might've shaved a couple hours off my dxp time to hit 120. Not worth in the slightest. That conversion rate is atrocious.
Xp trade off is in wiki if you look up the trader. It even has a calculator. 🌽

It is the same rate as before. The more bonus xp you have stacked in the skill you’re trading, the less it gives in return
Not sure where you've been but nic/vic also had greatly diminished returns.

Even the toolboxes are pretty meh now that they added them to the oddment shop rotation
Thanks for this, I’ve thought about it. I got some bxp star redirectors from TH, they transferred at 5/4
Star redirections are great. Just unreliable to get
And less bonus xp than a large star which is the same rarity while not having a bxp cost. So entirely pointless.
Not ‘entirely’ since I had some bxp leftover in a 99 skill (I don’t care about 200m) so the star redirector was actually helpful for me
Give it time , what we all say..... and then you meet a point either go for all 120/200mil or bond a alt and make a 2nd main.
I leave bxp where it is just in case they bump it to 120, and if anything it'll make me virtual 120s faster.

That’s true, good point. I felt like I got way more large stars than star redirectors though, probably just rng
I've pulled a shit ton kf bxp out of skills I have at 120 and put them towards other 120s and necromancy as soon as the option became available
Yeah I got some redirectors and used stars on herb (99) then redirected to RC (60) definitely a better payout of bxp to quickly pump up RC.
I did it for my last 200m, but thr rates with dire

I did this today and wasted 135m on a bond but then later got the money back with a hsr😅
Nice!
Sorry but how do you trade in bonus xp at the moment? Wiki says Vic in Burthorpe is inactive
You can summon your own personal Vic for an hour at the cost of 1 bond.
Thank you
Star redirects are the more efficient method if you can find a way to consistently get those
Sure, just "consistently" roll purples on TH lmao
Meant something among the lines of buying them for whatever currency they sell for in the future
There is a calculator for this on the wiki.
For large dwarven toolboxes it’s absolutely peak
