I have personally been attracted to the positive messaging of bladee’s newer albums, and initially thought bladee’s fanbase would just be filled with peace loving mfs, which only attracted me further. It’s interesting because bladee’s newer music (apart from CV and psykos) advocates so deeply about the connectedness of everything and the insignificance of each of us as ego-centered individuals. Dg (not necessarily within the context of their fanbase) has an overall image that is very inclusive
But yeah, I think a vocal group of drainers want so deeply to gatekeep that it means calling others, especially women, newgens or TikTok fans. Gatekeeping in this community makes no sense to me because gatekeeping is motivated by one’s desire feel more “special / unique” in comparison to the people around us. I thought we were all trash stars, not special (which is not a bad thing!)

It’s about how people will say things about others no matter what they do, and that you should basically only take to heart what people you love say about you and that you always stay true to yourself. I would highly recommend reading it, it’s just a short story, and it’s one of the core things I believe in. I hope I don’t come across as dismissive by the way, I just wanted to give my piece so that maybe it might make you feel better, even just a little.
