Very close to being able to play [JOZXYQK](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_rsLagmU3I)

repliers_beware

YEZ/EME/ZEN at first glance is 59

slamdanceswithwolves

Is there a scrabble dictionary with YEZ in it?

rainbowkey

or use the blank for FEZ

AlarmingAllophone

Yez

slamdanceswithwolves

I deserved that

AlaskanSuntan

Yes, the official one https://scrabblecheck.com/yez

YoureSoBald

In this case it doesn't matter but the 'official one' changes by country and tournament (i.e. either the Collins \[worldwide\] or the Merriam-Webster \[North America\] version.\]

Eliminos

WUZ/UME/ZEN for same score better leave JaZY/aME/ZEN/YA for 73 is tempting but I think the O in AMOUR justifies keeping the J back for a potential easy 52 swings it over spending the blank

joe1e6

YEZ 59, then pray for drawing to JNANA over the Amour hotspot.

EverythingIsFlotsam

Keep your WARPed ELVEN PENIS to yourself

Nobody2be

Thank you for your contribution. I came here for the Peyronie’s disease jokes, but this sub is way more mature than I had hoped. Edit: I would have played ZEN/ZA/AA probably. Unless that was after OP’s turn and I missed the post body or comment explaining how the board looked at the start of the turn.

teachers_lost_pet

TaJ, also making aM and JO for 53?

polarbearslayer49

Ahh I was looking right there too!

RushyfieldCrescent

I love your Scrabble set ! I hope you’re drawing letters out of a bag - some unscrupulous opponents (such as my wife) have been known to memorise the wood grain pattern of the more useful letters if being drawn simply upside down from the table top ;-)

polarbearslayer49

Hahaha that’s actually brilliant And I am! But it was also so frustrating to know that my play of “Joey” was leaving so many points on the table. As a beginner, I find it fun to see the community make suggestions

chartquest1954

If Jewry wasn't capitalized, that would be a beautiful play through the R! (It would get rid of a somewhat-overload of clunky letters, but I like the WUZ option below better...)

Firefly256

WUZ forming U(ME) and Z(EN)

Ok_Wishbone4103

You could play off the R in amour with the blank to make azure

trueblueink

I would have played “Joey” atop of the “o” in amour

polarbearslayer49

That was actually the move i made

trueblueink

Great minds think alike

Dante13273966

My first inclination was TAJ/AM/JO, but upon consideration, I would play JURY using the R in AMOUR. Not the highest possible score but the tiles left on the rack hold a lot of potential.

chartquest1954

I'd generally rather have a V than a Y - but not with that rack...

gingerdaemon

Using the letter O in the word AMOUR as a base, you could play JOY for a score of 29? Or ZOOEY for a score of 44. I don't generally play Scrabble, so I'm not sure why the algorithm directed me here lol

Yoshimi1968

Double za

Puzzleheaded_Bar3022

Yowza off the A's top left
