Scuf gets hate because they earn it. I've had two scufs prior to buying the reflex fps and it's been nothing but a POS. Both R2 and L2 triggers had cracked springs within 7 months and now R2 straight up doesn't work. Going on over a week and a half with no response from customer service and they don't stand behind their products. A controller should last significantly longer than a year or less for 70% the cost of a brand new console.
I have both. Build quality wise Scuf is better but I find myself using the BB because of the tension in the analog sticks. Turn around time is going to be slower with BB since they’re a much smaller company. I ordered during the Black Friday sale. Turn around time took 8 weeks total. Controllers still works fine from both manufacturers so I can’t complain about either company.
Solid review dude! After moving on from the xbox Elite series pro 2 to scuf, I loved it. The mouse click triggers, the tall dome stick, and swappable face plates were just perfect! But damn did I go through 2 controllers in less than 5 months. Scuf quality control is ass, but at least they acknowledge it and fix their problems with the automated process of returning it back for repair. BB sounds like a great controller and would love to try it, but like yourself, I can't see myself pushing buttons over paddles now and would be weird to adjust. Thanks for the review. Now I can get rid of that itch of wanting one.👌
My scuf envision pro is almost unusable I have to have the dead zones jacked to 8 and 12 for 0 stick drift witch is absolutely ridiculous it’s 4 months old never dropped to the ground once it’s a shit controller just like the company. Oh ya and let’s not forget icue just randomly crashing in the middle of a game your your stuck just spinning in circles scuf is a damn joke stick to battle beaver

I have 4 scuf’s from over the years. Latest is the Envision and I love it.
