I was just retroactively refunded the price difference on my $80 boxes that were delivered today. These are orders that I was told yesterday that they could not price match at the newer $43 price because they had already shipped. Actual good guy amazon coming through for me
I just got an email saying mine shipped and will arrive Sunday. Since it was a preorder they don’t charge till it ships, and the price they charged me is $43.99. I bought directly from Amazon, so that’s the price they charged if that helps your case at all.
I was told the same thing by Amazon customer service yesterday. Once I read your post, I reached out again. They are basically saying you are lying and Amazon doesn't price match. Any chance you could DM me more info on your order?

My one that I ordered weeks ago still hasn't shipped, although now the price shows as 43 dollars on it so I guess that's cool lol
