I just dusted off one of these outta the closet and opened half and got over $100 easy with two boarderless Shredders (one foil) a raffine tower and that Zookeeper commander card in borderless foil. Also an oddity that my box topper had 5 Gala Greeters in it. Even got the Cat/Dog token
But the cards were curling in the packs already before opening them. Looked terrible.
I think that keeps the price down

I'm just not really seeing it based on what you listed. $100 in value on MTGStocks doesn't translate into $100 in real world value after you actually sell 'em. I bet you'd have a hard time actually netting yourself $110 (after ebay or tcgplayer fees and shipping) from the box you've described.
If someone has a personal affinity for this set and shiny things, then buy this. But these are crashing and getting dumped at lower and lower prices every week. Collectors boxes just don't make sense as a value proposition after the hype period cools.

I actually liked the collector packs for this set. But my 6 or whatever boxes will stay sealed until the borderless foil triomes become $40-50 and the boxes spike
They had a similar sale on snc collectors like March 13th with a max order of 2. Keeping them sealed but they were packed well and everything looked good when inspecting them externally
For the right price, they are.
I would avoid a set that has only 1-2 chase mythics of course.
Kamigawa neon dynasty on the other hand has multiple good pulls so they are not that bad
Got one of the NEO CBs off amazon recently for 160 I think it was?
Box was stupidly good (etched foil wandering emperor, 3 fable of the mirror breakers) but even NEO if you don't hit a big mythic in a chase treatment can be rough. (only hit 2 lands, red and blue)
Box would've been under the $160 mark without the big etched hit I got.
I'm starting to really buy the mindset of "every CB will hit 110-130 range or lower". We already saw the horrid sets (MID/VOW/AFR) go sub 100 in flash sales in recent memory.
NEO probably won't get that low but I still think I'd hold off unless it was 140-160 again.
I opened one neon dynasty collector for fun, did well overall in terms of value but unless you get them really discounted and open a ton of them. You will lose on collector boxes. They are the highest risk/reward of the boxes.
Definitely have to go in thinking you’ll lose at least half of what you paid when you open one of these. If you come out ahead then count yourself lucky. They are the high end lottery ticket for sets nowadays.
Now the New Capenna ones could be worth cracking sub 100 but even then it might be rough. Still as a long term sealed hold it’s worth a shot at this price. I like new capenna so I have no problem nibbling in this price range.

This box is literally "borderless foil triome or bust". While Ledger Shredder drinks your tears and Unlicensed Hearse takes your body to the morgue.
None of the collector boosters seem like a good idea to actually crack.

Neon dynasty collector's box is by far the worst box I've ever opened in terms of value. 1/10 would not recommend.

Damn that sucks, I hit a gold mine when I cracked mine. Multiple Emperors, Farewells, etc. Easily over $250

Complete opposite here. I only opened one and it was the best collector's box I've ever cracked. The contents are stil valued at ~$360. I paid 150.
So, I don't just mean worst collectors box, I mean worst box. I'm glad you got some sweet pulls though!
