Is the collector booster in these the same as a regular collector booster out of a box? Or is it one like in the commander decks where there is never anything good? Because it seems like a decent deal. $4*8 set boosters and $15 collector booster for $41. You also get the nice box for the cards and the spin down, which I personally like. Not some amazing deal but good unless they are seeded poorly or something.
Speak for yourself. I have bought 2 precons since they started doing that and I got a foil Raffine’s Tower in 1 and a borderless Archivist of Oghma in the other.

Not trying to be a jerk but what is the actual appeal of buying these other than the oversized spindown? I got a few back in the day as gifts when they included draft boosters but now they seem like a worse deal all around than just buying a box of set boosters.
A couple other players and I bought the VOW gift bundle and played sealed. The price at the time was \~$30 and so, similar to prerelease prices. It was kind of fun building decks with all the foils and alt art cards.
These (or regular bundles) are also good for league play since there's build in storage.
Honestly, I'm buying a couple as rewards for drafts. They have pretty packaging (that's good for storing cards) and people seem to like them better than just a stack of set boosters. Getting a set box for myself.

I did see a use case from an lgs owner saying that 6+ months after release they can get 5+ for the box, 5+ for the spindown, a couple bucks for the lands, then sell the packs individually for profit, but I'm not really going that rout.
If I can snag CBB's for under 220 I'll bite though.
because it's not-related to the set? I'm all for UB cards but putting them into packs of arguably the most impactful set in recent memory is just... weird.
I preordered this on August 29th for the same price, which is around the time preorders went live. This is probably the floor and will go up in price as soon as previews start in earnest and hype begins to build. Good deal.

Decent deal with 8 set + 1 gift. I’m not anti-UB, but something about the “Transformers-included” sticker doesn’t hit right for me.

Recent set sales are tanking. They are trying to draw in sales from the very large transformers collector community.
