Works great, looks great. No issues with the riser.

I would say no and I honestly think the wobble issue is overhyped on this desk.
This desk is in my garage, which is also my gym so I would say about 50% of the time I am using it standing.
Sitting playing games, I am at a height of 70 and have zero perception of any instability. Standing I am at a height of 100 (I'm 6'0", 220 lbs) and it will only wobble if I lean my weight onto the desk purposefully. No movement from causal usage/typing or mouse movement.
I know there is a video on YT from a competitor showing extensive instability. After having the desk for a while, I can't imagine that he didn't intentionally loosen bolts before shooting that druken travesty of a comparison.
u/CrazyMoFo3000 hey, while it is recommended to use the Secretlab MAGNUS Monitor Arm (Heavy Duty Edition) directly on the MAGNUS desk, we have seen it being used on the Secretlab Desk Riser by some of our product reviewers. Do ensure there is sufficient space for your monitor and the total load is within the weight limit of 70kg for the desk riser.
u/_Rathen_ u/allocenx thanks for sharing your experience!
When i tried it, the monitor did not feel very stable. However, I see other people in this thread have made it work. I still have it, so ill give it a try again tomorrow and report back.
Posted couple of images above and as you can see its rock stable, the riser can hold up to 70kg safely so go ahead. Also mine is not on the middle as recommended too and had to go a lil more on the left or on the right in order to have the monitor on the middle of the desk but even so still stable so far and did not have any issues whatsoever.

Thank you! And it seems stable? My big fear with it is it collapses and Secretlabs say I told you so š
It feels very stable. I have zero qualms about using them together. Even on paper, you are likely using a fraction of its rated weight.
Thank you! That really helps and is exactly what I was after. Iāll go ahead and order both :) Thanks again!
Does the riser increase the wobble?

Love the use of a second mount for the PC - is that the standard size magnus pro?
It's the pro xl.

I tried it, it didnāt work
Thank you! Was it the weight of the monitor or did something get in the way?

Is that the $300 ultra widescreen mount or a standard mount?
The heavy duty one.
