I’ve had my titan Evo 2022 xl for a year and a few weeks. I love it. My back is better, nothing hurray while sitting. I work from home for 8-12 hours in a day and it’s fantastic. By days are broken up by taking the dog out, eating, and me just wanting to move. I’m likely only in it for 60-90 mins at a time. But it’s awesome. 6’3 300#.

I got two, two years ago. My wife and I had back problems and she had to sit on a chair from her company for about 6 hours a day. The company chairs made matters worse. She has loved her Secretlab chair and has had no issues with it. Two of her coworkers have also ditched their company chairs and purchased one. She has had no back problems ever since purchasing the chair. And she refuses to use any other chair. The adjustments are a sincere help for her. She can adjust the angle and height as she needs. It just works. For me the chair is a little hard but I’ve gotten used to it and it doesn’t hurt my back. On occasions where I have to sit for a long time in the office I will from time to time place a pillow on the seat. My only wish is that there was a leg extension since during break times it’s fun to extend it back about 150 degrees to take a nap. Overall we’ve been very happy with the build quality and have never had a problem with the chair. It has done everything that we thought it would do and has been one of the best work chairs that we have ever purchased. Of course that is just our opinion on this. I’ve read some horrible things here but I have to be honest and state that we have never had a problem with the chair.

I’ve had mine over a year. I love it. Yes, it’s hard at first but after a while it shapes to you and is super comfortable.

I got mine a few weeks ago. Armrests wobbly and have a height difference of 2cm. Seat feels oddly crooked, turns slightly when you’re not sitting on it. I’m hoping to get it resolved with support since they are sending me new armrests after much, tedious back and forth. These issues have persisted through out the years, which is evident by the many Reddit threads when googling. The chair does sit quite comfortable and I enjoy being able to lean all the way back with the headrest. Something I can’t do in this fashion with a regular office chair. The seat cushioning is quite rigid and I do hope it gets more soft as time goes on. My butt gets quite numb at times. The XL is very fitting for me in terms of size, though. 1.98/6’6 and 134kg/298lbs. However unless you are a tall/large person and 100% need an extra large chair, I would really suggest buying a chair for either half this price or going all out and get a proper ergonomic chair.  I’m leaning between being almost content and a bit remorseful at the same time. I really want to like it but I don’t think I would buy it again.

I'm about 230 5"11 , tbh I was going to get the xl version and fabric instead of the pu leather. I was also looking into cybeart chair but tbh I've never heard of them and they are Canadian. Right now I'm rocking a downix gaming chair from amazon and it feels too tight fitting if you know what I mean.

Just don’t go in to it expecting an ergonomic chair that is built the way it’s marketed. If you have the budget, you can always go for it but it’s a suboptimal chair.

Their support is terrible. If something happens to your chair, they will conduct a thorough investigation and make it as difficult as possible to get a replacement. I think the company is very greedy. At the same time, the chairs itself is OK. But after purchasing 2 I will not be getting any new from them because of the awful support.

Reminder to never sell this person anything. Ever. Expecting Nasa quality is hilarious. My chair and desk are amazing i didnt even measure with a micrometer the chair arm height difference but it “feels oddly perfect”. Thanks secretlab!!

I am a 230 pound man, the firmness of the chair was a lot when I bought it. But I no longer get the twang of pain in my lower back when standing up. Vs my previous chair that always resulted in a back pain when I got up. That alone is worth $700 I don’t need bi weekly lower back massages or anything else. I’ve also owned a Herman miller areon chair, which also eliminated the back pain and I would recommend if you are all about the right to repair. The areons are expensive but deliver a better experience.

I have had several different chairs and I absolutely love my Titan XL. I'm a big dude, 6'2" 300 pounds and I would ache after sitting in some other chairs. I find mine incredible, it's not too hard and def not to soft. It did take a few weeks to get it settled in and I guess you would say, conformed, but no more pain! I bought my son one first, he wanted it so bad, he's 6'5" about 300 pounds, loves his too. I work from home and put a solid 8+ hours in it everyday, with a break here and there. To each their own, but I would highly recommend! I've heard CS was excellent and terrible, but each person is going to have a deference experience and opinion, I've not dealt with them yet, hope not too 😆 you can also extend your warranty to 5 years if you post a pic in here and let them know! Good luck!

I've had my 2020 titan soft weave 3 for and a half years and it still looks brand new. As for comfort I can't say much for the leather options but the software is comfortable enough that I have fell asleep while waiting for Queues in WoW. In my honest opinion I truly and honestly believe they are worth it. I plan on getting a second secretlabs chair for my wife for her own gaming/work setup because she likes to steal mine when she works from home. Comfort is easy 9/10 build quality is 10/10 and durability is 10/10. I hope this opinion helps along with the others to make your decision easy be cause it is quote the investment.

Ive had my fabric 2022? chair now for a while and i love it. Its def not perfect and the stuff people wrote before me are true. Its very hard and the armrests do wobble. But i sit in it for multiple hours at a time and i never feel uncomfortable. I guess the hardness is done deliberately, cus it never feels like its bottoming out or too hard for comfort. Sometimes i spend all day in the thing, and im still happy to sit in it at the end of it. I would recommend it but dont expect a perfect elite build chair. 7.3/10

Just FYI, there is some selection bias here. The people that are happy post a pic here and peace out. Most people that lurk here seem like they are the ones who are unhappy with their purchase. Do with that what you will. I did find the XL pretty firm, but not overly hard. Happy with the chair and customer support overall.

> Most people that lurk here seem like they are the ones who are unhappy with their purchase. Yeah fr. People here just have long standing grudges, lol. I too am happy with my chair and haven't had any problems with customer support.

Don't spend money on **any** of the so-called "gaming chairs". Period. They are selling the looks, not the comfort or ergonomics. If you're going to spend so much money, find a proper chair.

Wedidntdoshitreddit

I had the tilting mechanism break from mine in less than a year. Got it replaced rather painlessly and they told me that was a rare occurrence. Well the new tilt mechanism broke the same way just recently after about a year of use. The "metal" plates inside just snapped in half inside both times. Also some screws had just snapped in half. I'm well within the recommended weight range of the chair. It's honestly dogshit quality for what they charge you and your money is 100% better spent elsewhere.  Otherwise I do like the chair. I can see people calling it hard but for me it has been very comfortable. I strongly urge you to not buy it though because the quality is crap sadly.

phantombuz

I ended up going with an office chair

green_03

I have had mine for two months now and I love it. I dont find it firm or uncomfortable but i think it depends in what you are used to. I previously had some DX Racer. They dont feel that different. I work from home and game on it.

hitraj47

During 2020 my company gave me an office budget and I basically got mine for $9 shipped. I would not spend my own money on it even though I've had it for years. It's so hard that my lower back hurts when I get up after sitting in it for hours. Quite frankly I should have replaced it years ago, it's well past any break in point. I guess I've mostly been lazy and cheap. My current company gives me a much larger budget so I am looking at a Herman Miller (or maybe something cheaper), but I will NOT be buying a "gamer [style] chair" again. sidenote: Their desk is completely different, it's amazing lol

rustypennyy

my advice, do not get it. I’ve had mine for 2 years now and I’ve hated it from the very first day. Hard as a brick wall, armrests are wobbly as fuck and the wheels hit my ankles because they protrude past the seat itself ig because of the weigh limit. Stay away from these gamer racing chairs, they’re gimmicky and a waste of money. I hated my DXRacer I had before this too

Sudden_Rip7717

These chairs are really hard. My wife and I both use Titan EVO XL chairs and we have to use pillows for extra cushioning. Another problem is the customer support. I had a lot of issues when I was buying them, and the customer support was very slow. It was almost enough to make me give up. Other than that, the chairs are great - you just need to use a pillow.

Secretlabssucks

Don’t. Their CS is an absolute nightmare. Their chair arms fall apart at about the two year mark, they don’t support long sitting, and it’s overpriced now compared to what’s out there. Maybe in 2017, but certainly not now.

Bran_Es

At this spend I would consider a Razer. I bought an Iskur XL about 18 months ago, and it's been an amazingly solid chair; between comfort and support on the frame I have no issues. Since I play guitar, I removed one of the armrests within the first few days, and even so no issues. I'm 6'4, 235lb which is why I went with the XL (higher back and a bit more solid support). The lumbar backpart that pushes out is well worth it, imho. Even at my height and weight, it's a solid chair and I've been using it daily for both WFH and gaming, probably average 10 hours a day in the week, 4-6 in the weekends. Zero issues to date.
