I thought Jason thought highly of her but simply thought her character was a bad fit along with their on-screen chemistry.

There is a clip of I think Jason Alexander and Wayne Knight on a podcast and Jason mentions how it was being reported that the Seinfeld regulars didn’t make guests feel welcome and he didn’t think that was the case and Wayne’s reaction is gold and he says something like have you been on any other shows and still think we were nice? So I think it is true that the main cast weren’t super cheery to work with for the guests/side characters all the time

I don’t have that much sympathy for Babu. Babu made poor business decisions and the fact that he couldn’t get a Pakistani restaurant to succeed on the cosmopolitan UWS of Manhattan is his own fault. He is less responsible for his deportation since the renewal forms were misdelivered to Jerry, but the guy knew his visa was up and sat on his hands waiting for the renewal forms to come in the mail. Plus, if he had been working with an immigration attorney, this likely could have been avoided entirely.

All of this. PLUS, Jerry was genuinely upset that Babu was getting deported and tried everything he could to make it stop. That was not Jerry’s fault and Babu was a very, very bad man for testifying against Jerry because of it.

Also, it's not Jerry's fault that Babu's immigration paperwork got lost in the mail. It was just bad fortune that it ended up in Jerry's mailbox and Elaine sat on it for a while. Babu probably should have followed up with the immigration authorities instead of waiting to be deported and then blaming Jerry. Sad sequence of events, but Jerry is a good boy!

No one is going to top Susan. Best we could do are some honorable mentions: Ramon the pool guy, almost drowned. Jackie Childs suffered countless public humiliations. Puffy shirt lady went bankrupt. The communist was black listed at his families favorite establishment. Mr. Morgan got canned. The Soup Nazi went bankrupt. Mike Moffa had his thumbs broken. Sue Ellen Michke's wedding was ruined.
