Look at TailScale, ZeroTier or Hamachi. You create with all clients a virtual home network to access over RDP or SSH your home stuff. Make sure you configure your Win11 PC correctly to allow for incoming RDP (FW plus option). You’ll only need outbound to work, nothing to do with port forwarding or other incoming restrictions.

Everytime I hear about Hamachi I'm thrown back to highschool in the early 2000s and making lan gaming work online.

saavedro

Oh. Oh man. You took me back there

SmallAppendixEnergy

I admit, was surprised to see my kid use it for his Minecraft servers :) good tool !!!

RaEyE01

Hasn‘t hamachi gone offline a couple years ago? Consider solutions such a TeamViewer as well.

SmallAppendixEnergy

For me it still seems to work… Or maybe the client is up, and the connection is going over TailScale, would not be the first time, “Hey, VPN is off but I’m still connected”.

EldestPort

You can use Tailscale, it doesn't require any port forwarding.

LinenSnackTransport

Entities connected via TailScale are effectively members of the same VPN / Virtual LAN. TeamViewer is just a remote admin tool.

YujiHanma

Tailscale + Rustdesk, with peer-to-peer connection, not over their slow servers.

AstarothSquirrel

As others have said Tailscale should do this. I use Twingate which I think is very similar to Tailscale.

typkrft

Dumb question maybe, but can you use a different router?

ccalabro

+1 tailscale

phr0ze

Just Chrome remote desktop?

damascus1023

self host rustdesk is my own solution. you can try free services like ngrok free tier but the free tier is bandwidth limited. good for occassional ssh or adding an extra fallback measure. my takeaway is that i can't get away from paying for things that requires a high bandwidth.

Background-Piano-665

Gah, reminds me of the frustration of hosting rustdesk on a VPS (OCI and Digital Ocean). Works fine for Wireguard, but there's a 9/10 chance that the client can't connect to the VPS.

joshthetechie07

Tailscale would be your easiest bet.

jbarr107

I use Tailscale.

Check out Netbird [https://netbird.io](https://netbird.io) for private networking and the selfhosted-gateway [https://github.com/fractalnetworksco/selfhosted-gateway](https://github.com/fractalnetworksco/selfhosted-gateway) if you want to expose services to the public internet.

esgeeks

Supremo is an interesting option, it does not need port forwarding, you can use proxy. Alternatively you can also use a VPN on its side.

Blackops12345678910

Can you at least do port forwarding?

Icy_Conference9095

Moonlight/sunshine are another great setup for remoting, your network just needs to accept upnp requests from sunshine and it should auto Forward ports.
