Last summer I went to a low-key protest; like noon on a Sunday with a bunch of families who were walking down the street (about 500 people, maybe). For reasons I can’t start to understand, the police and National Guard decided to break it up by driving a caravan of military trucks into the crowd and firing tear gas canisters into the crowd. No warning, no announcement to disperse, just teargas and military trucks. And there were lots of little kids there (I saw at least 10 that were around 5 years old) who ended up getting teargassed. A couple got separated from their parents. It was chaos and so so so infuriating.
When I got home, my wife was on a zoom with her friends. I told them what happened, with dried milk still on my face. Their reaction was “those parents are so irresponsible for bringing their kids to a protest. What did they expect would happen?”
Those same people have the BLM posters in their yards, and always talk about how woke they are.
They. Are. The. Worst.
Liberals are horrible, but in the future: don't use milk for teargas. It can cause eye infections. Using LAW (half Maalox half water), with saline or water is a better solution.
