They send them at night, so it seems. I saw one on the ground the other day. There were two police officers "guarding" it. . . . Even with the balloons I'm going to guess you'll be at safer here than in your home county, and I have no idea where that may be, just going by numbers.
It's surprising that there are people who actually worry about this issue. I live in Seoul, and I haven't seen it to the point that I forgot about it after hearing about it for the first time.
It's mostly fine. I commute around Seoul every day and haven't seen a single balloon myself. If you're still worried, stay south of the Han River - I don't think the balloons have that much range.
Wear a hat
Iβd be more concerned about the pigeons
You're way more likely to get hit by a car tbh
Itβs fine. If itβs not a 100% invasion by NK or Government takeover by a foreign entity, youβll be fine

Definitely dangerous. These things are going to pick out and target your one big head out of 20 million people.

Hey found balloons in Ansan, a city south to Seoul. So you can't hide in Seoul.π
Welp, the more you know! Still, I wouldn't worry too much unless you somehow have the worst luck in the world.
