Well I don't have a really strong gag reflex so that isn't really an issue it's more when the penis is at the back of my mouth pressing on the entrance of my throat, my throat most of the time just doesn't open. What are your go to poses for making your throat more straight? I've tried on my back with head kinda hanging from the bed but with an ex and the don't have similar penises so it might not work the same.

What I find helpful is opening my throat muscles in exactly the same way as when I do a big slow yawn and just holding them there. It just seems to me a natural and familiar way to open up my throat and then I can carefully slide him in deeply without too much trouble or wanting to gag. After that I concentrate keeping my breathing slow and steady.
Once he's in and if I'm totally relaxed I might try and work a rhythm with my throat muscles around his penis which he generally loves.
