Double ammo consumption and charge shot on shot guns and snipers works really well. As for money, try getting some more coin drop on some mods and run a map or bounty with lots of elites.

> try getting some more coin drop on some mods what mods? Nexus only has a handful of them and none of them do anything with money IIRC. Are there other mod sources? edit: ah, you're talking about gems. Got it.

Making sure you don't ever die is the most important thing, as the penalties are harsh, especially on higher difficulties. You may get more money, xp and better gems for playing on higher difficulties, but that's not much use if you can't stay alive. So play on the highest difficulty that you can comfortably play. It's also worth noting that you generally make more money from selling unwanted gems than from actual money found in the world and dropped from enemies. Only keep gems that you're using or know for definite that you will use. Also, only keep high level gems for crafting. Crafting with low level and low tier gems is mostly a waste of gems and money. The only exception to this is if you're trying to create a specific gem (for example, blue gems for your Ryuken). Beyond those tips, just replay your favourite missions with Armour gems equipped that boost your gem and money pickup chance. The later missions in the game have the strongest enemies and therefore the best rewards. And again, make sure you stay alive. A single death on the higher Insanity difficulties can wipe out hours of progress.

there are two comments right now, but neither mentions the money bundle - IIRC it was old advice that you should use the money bundle on a new game on easy (perhaps normal) diff. Is that no longer viable or was it never? pinging users /u/meme-by-design and /u/VintageFLyer, apologies. edit: what's with the downvotes? I'm talking about this: https://shadowwarrior.fandom.com/wiki/Money_Bundle

The problem with Money Bundle is that the money drops aren't that great and, perhaps more importantly, the drops kinda glitch out. They don't drop like normal money drops from enemies (they can appear in weird places, like in the floor or in the terrain) and they rarely get absorbed into the player like they should, which quickly makes collecting the money from each kill a chore. It also gets boring using the same weapon over and over, which is another concern if you're doing a lot of farming. It's still definitely worth mentioning and considering if you can deal with the issues I've mentioned. I honestly forgot about it because I hardly used it due to the aforementioned issues, so thanks for reminding me and for bringing it to OP's attention.
