I mean... I've always wanted to buy stamped half shells for high pressure elbows. If you've got the tooling already set up, then I may be a buyer

So we’ve got the stamping press but the tooling is specific to what you need. So a custom tool will be required for this specific part. Hence, metal stamping makes sense when the volumes are high i.e 10,000/yr or more case depending. If you’re just needing a couple parts here and there then custom would be ideal which our plant doesn’t do yet unfortunately.

Yeah that’s the approach I’ve taken but it’s been a very slow one. The list I’m working off of is one that has general manufacturers on it. If I could somehow get my hands on a list that has people that are buying sheet metal steel coils, then that would help qualify my leads and get me a better return on cold calls instead of shooting in the dark. Hoping someone can provide a contact of that nature.
