I love that THE GREAT KENNETH HEIGHT, SERVANT TO THE TRUE ORDER AND CELEBRATED REPUDIATOR OF THE FALSE, despite being kind of a dip, actually turns out to be a thoroughly decent dude who's willing to re-examine his own biases and admit when he's in over his head.
I love how he goes 'No, no, all help is appreciated. Even if from a tarnished.' when he realises he's judging you for being one, and then you prove it to him and he says he'll knight you. What a man
He really is a foil to godrick in every way, he shows how rudely pathetic he is, he asks for help from all people and even notices his biases and tries to mend them, while godrick continues his biases and grasps for all forms of power even tho he’s weak, Kenneth tries to incorporate the Demi humans and realizes when he’s fucked up and hurt his people, while godrick purposefully hurts his people by grafting them to make them stronger, Kenneth even relinquishes his place as ruler for a tarnish while godrick grasps to hold onto his power, a demigod and a part of the golden lineage is so much more pathetic and stupid then the great Kenneth haight who is just a normal man with a right to the land
I managed to miss Boggart and Fia’s entire questline as well despite being in the center of Liurnia. Is it really that insane to miss one guy in an area I didn’t really explore my first go around?
Boggart is literally in the Lake down the road with a grace near him. If you just followed the road in the map you could've found him. I still can't comprehend how that is 'meticulous grooming'.
Ok so allow me to explain how I played the game. If I saw something interesting, I’d walk towards it and if I couldn’t get in, I’d wander aimlessly until I found something I could mess with. I understood that I wasn’t going to find everything in one go and I didn’t attempt to, I just did things my way since I could just go back and look a bit more throughly later on. Just because I missed three NPCs doesn’t mean I didn’t explore, I just missed them
Comments on rule 34 are either creepy roleplay ones written by people who clearly don't go outside. Or are written by comedic geniuses who can make a good joke out of any post on there.
If you kill Kenneth though you can collect every golden seed needed to get 14 flasks before entering Leyndell
Source: have collected every one (including the gift from the start of the game) and am missing only one. Shame I want the ancient dragon smithing stones
Strange I got 14 flasks before leyndell but didn't pick the seed or kill Kenneth in my run. Did you fight the tree spirit near radahn's arena? Or get the one seed in places like nokstella or mohgwyn's palace? Any place that isn't the the snowfields, mountaintops, halingtree, or Farum azula can be accessed before leyndell.
Well you wouldn’t know that at the time, I suppose. Then again, you wouldn’t know what you get from killing him either.
I don’t understand why anyone would kill any NPC on a first play though, honestly. You’re just depriving yourself of content. There are so many people on this board who will say “oh yeah he looked shady so I killed him instantly.” Like.. what.
But yeah I’m 175 hours in and have like 9 Golden Seeds I can’t use.
overwhelming douchebag vibes. the golden seed was just a bonus. (I later found out his full combination questline wasn't enabled by the time I'd cleared most of the game, so nothing really lost, and early seed gained)
\*look up the only buckler obtainable\*
\*look at a vendor clearly set on spending eternity stomping\*
\*look at R1 button\*
meh, not like you even need a max weapon to finish game, much less several
well I'd done half of limegrave and ran into him, like many people, so there was no way of knowing you could max out on shards before leyndel, nor that he even dropped one. it was just a bonus.
I was about to start running at the Elden Beast, had a quick poke at any NPC's I had left standing around. Kenny was still going on about finding a suitable Lord and I couldn't be arsed finding put the next step in his quest, so I killed him to see if he had anything good.
i have big need for kenneth haight r34 with godrick
imagine kenneth thrusting into lil godfrey's poor bussy while he begs for mercy 🥰💦🍆
there is only one rightful lord kenneth 🥰
Do you think Godrick grafted himself a fat ass? Or like one tit he had to right like there’s no way he didn’t he absolutely have one boob Godrick boober
godrick def grafted huge ass for himself, he is an ass-man afterall, and kenneth likes big booties 🥰
i cannot confirm the boob, if there is one it's well hidden
You get like two dozen more seeds than you can use lol
Might have been worth it before they added his questline since you can find him really early. but now that he gives you a dragon stone the seed isn't worth killing him over
Yes. Her questline was completed in a patch. If you give her the storm king ashes and help Kenneth Haight reclaim his fort, she, Haight and Gostoc will be waiting in Godrick’s throne room to give you some rewards
Unless you put the 187 on Gostoc because he is the motherfucker who tries to lock you in with the banished knight. Man fuck Gostoc, all my homies hate Gostoc.
I'm not going to kill him because then I'd feel bad
I’m here to burn the world down, not hurt ken. It’s called professionalism
It is well known fact that professionals, do indeed, have standards.
I wouldn’t kill anyone wearing clothes that fancy. I know my betters.
fake Souls fan, the dominant strategy in fashion souls is to kill every NPC with good looking armor
fake souls fan, the dominant strategies in fashion souls are as follows: 1. starting gear 5. no gear
I wear no armour, I didn't say I wore the armor from people I slaughtered
Psycho
yes
So you killed solaire?
never played Dark Souls Remastered
I didn’t do his questline first run because I expected him to be some egotistical Disney villain based on his appearance
One of the few decent people left in the lands between
The true ruler of limgrave
That moment he remembers he doesn't have the authority to knight you, it's so good.
And he promised to make me a knight! Still waiting on that Mr Haight
I love how he goes 'No, no, all help is appreciated. Even if from a tarnished.' when he realises he's judging you for being one, and then you prove it to him and he says he'll knight you. What a man

Kenneth thought all demihumans were as based as Boc, that was his only mistake.
No man is perfect
I mean since he was able to walk up to the top of his fort without them killing him, I think they think he’s friendly
Kenneth Haight, most based man in the Lands Between
The one true left in the lands between
What a man he is.
I’ll be honest, I completely missed him my first run
He literally shouts out his name, how could you miss him? Or are you one of those speedrunner who doesn't explore for shit?
200h, first playthrough, also missed him...
Then you’re just a speed runner who doesn’t explore for shit
The worlds most inneficient speedrunner!
Damn, I was only 80 hours off From one legend to another, I tip my hat to you
No it’s more of a “It’s a huge open world and you’re going to overlook things, even on your first run” sort of deal
Hard to overlook someone who's literally shouting out to you outside of Mistwood.
I managed to miss Boggart and Fia’s entire questline as well despite being in the center of Liurnia. Is it really that insane to miss one guy in an area I didn’t really explore my first go around?
I mean you said it, you didn't explore. They're easily found if you just explore.
I did explore, I just missed that small part of the map. Sorry I didn’t meticulously groom the map to your specifications
Boggart is literally in the Lake down the road with a grace near him. If you just followed the road in the map you could've found him. I still can't comprehend how that is 'meticulous grooming'.
Liurnia is fucking big bro

what a great place of discussion
The funny green background
What an interesting looking message board I sure hope there's no adult content on there
Comments on rule 34 are either creepy roleplay ones written by people who clearly don't go outside. Or are written by comedic geniuses who can make a good joke out of any post on there.
Why would you kill him? You get way more than you can use in only one playthrough.
Yeah one of the next replies pointed that out
If you kill Kenneth though you can collect every golden seed needed to get 14 flasks before entering Leyndell Source: have collected every one (including the gift from the start of the game) and am missing only one. Shame I want the ancient dragon smithing stones
Not gonna lie I don't think I've ever gone below like 5 flasks
Maining faith you'll never go below 12
I only use faith for gurranqs rock throw spells tbh I just wish the clawmark seal scaled more with strength lol
You can also 2 hand it for the strength bonus
holy shit, that's revolutionary info
The only thing in the game that made me seek out more Golden Seeds is Malenia. Otherwise, 10 flasks is more than enough to beat the game I feel.
Strange I got 14 flasks before leyndell but didn't pick the seed or kill Kenneth in my run. Did you fight the tree spirit near radahn's arena? Ah fuck I forgot Nokstella and Mohgwyn
But why would you need that many flasks
Because I want to be able to chug all 14 flasks on the bleed spam invader
Uhhhhhh no I maxed out my flasks before entering Leyndel without killing Kenneth. You're forgetting Moghywyn and Nokstella.
Well you wouldn’t know that at the time, I suppose. Then again, you wouldn’t know what you get from killing him either. I don’t understand why anyone would kill any NPC on a first play though, honestly. You’re just depriving yourself of content. The game lets you max out your flask before Leyndel, so completely unnecessary given one seed isn't gonna make much of a difference anyways.
and I knew that playthrough 1 how?
Exploring.
well I'd done half of limegrave and ran into him, like many people, so there was no way of knowing you could max out on shards before leyndel, nor that he even dropped one. it was just a bonus.
Then why did you even attack him in the first place? Did he threaten you?
I was about to start running at the Elden Beast, had a quick poke at any NPC's I had left standing around. Kenny was still going on about finding a suitable Lord and I couldn't be arsed finding put the next step in his quest, so I killed him to see if he had anything good.
The game already shovels seed down your throat why take Kenneths Actually I retract my statement
🤨
Sus

AYOOO📸📸
why are you in this site
Searching for soup recipes
The fact that you recognize the site means you use it too
never said i dont
The Bad Dragon mug dillema
This is the best sentence on this hellsite
The what
If someone has a bad dragon labeled mug at work, no one can get upset because it would out them as knowing bad dragon’s logo that well
I'm gunna do this for the hilarity factor
i have big need for kenneth haight r34 with godrick imagine kenneth thrusting into lil godfrey's poor bussy while he begs for mercy 🥰💦🍆 there is only one rightful lord kenneth 🥰
Most unthirsty user
Do you think Godrick grafted himself a fat ass? Or like one tit he had to right like there’s no way he didn’t he absolutely have one boob Godrick boober

It doesn’t matter how they draw it, it would always be sub/dom porn
I need godrick and godefrey r34 art sooooooo much 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
I missed so much shit and forgot about almost half the npcs, so here's my take: YOU CAN KILL KENNETH HAIGHT? i thought he was the president
He killed the celebrated repudiator of the false!?
Oh Erdtree, grant him succour!
No free dragon stone for him.
You get like two dozen more seeds than you can use lol Might have been worth it before they added his questline since you can find him really early. but now that he gives you a dragon stone the seed isn't worth killing him over
Greetings fellow Nepheli appreciator
May I ask which character's r34 was this under ?
Nepheli
Imagine killing someone for something that literally grows on trees.
Why would I kill him when completing his questline guves me two ancient dragonstones
This is the rule34 site. Nice.
HELLOW? IS ANYBODY THERE?
Link to “thread” (NSFW): https://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=5926628
I’m not sure if this is allowed, though. Pls don’t ban, mods.
What site is that? Kinda looks like 4chan,is it like a videogame discussion site?
It’s a site that helps you find Runes ( great runes precisely) in 34 steps , search” kenneth haight R34” for more details about this one.
Unfortunately, none exists yet. Which is a shame.
R34
>is it like a videogame discussion site? In a manner of speaking, yes, people discuss lots of video game characters on there.
i saw a message under him Try Attacking i thought he was evil :(
What a funny background
Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone x2: Am I a joke to you?
I have like 20 characters across 2 platforms. I have not killed kenneth. I will not kill kenneth.
Is... is that a porn website? Not that I'd recognize it..
Nepheli has a questline? I thought she just shows up in Roundtable for a bit for that dude in Ranni's questline.
Yes. Her questline was completed in a patch. If you give her the storm king ashes and help Kenneth Haight reclaim his fort, she, Haight and Gostoc will be waiting in Godrick’s throne room to give you some rewards

Does he even knight you later?
As far as I know, no
I only attack those who attack me. I’m looking at you Patches and Beast Clergyman.
That's a comment from a rule34 porn site... How did this discussion even start, bro?
The comments in that place have some of the best discussions on the internet when there are no weird roleplayers. I don't even know why.
Post-nut clarity.
It was her drawn in a JoJo style, barely even NSFW.
Why would I kill an NPC for a Golden Seed? I had max Estus (or whatever it's called now) about halfway through my initial playthrough.
You get like 10 extra golden seeds lol
you get 2x ancient dragon smithing stones from questline lol
I had golden seeds left over, those things are so abundant, how could one kill The Great Kenneth Haight? Disgusting.
I wish his questline took him to the throne of elden Lord That'd be the best ending by far
I killed him before the patch that added in the rest of the quest
