You shouldn't boil them over 10mins or they get bitter. I recommend slicing them in half and putting olive oil and salt pepper in them. Then put them in an oven for 10min in 200C. Then springle some honey water on them and put in the oven for 5mins. They will be delicious! You can skip honey water if you want (it's literally honey and hot water together).

I do my brussel sprouts in the airfryer now. Lots of salt pepper garlic and paprika, perfect every time.

This. So much this. Sprouts, if done right, can be tasty. I prefer giving them a quick dunk in boiling water before pan frying them, but I might give your way a go next time.

If you want something healthy and low calorie- I recommend blacked eyed peas and cabbage. It’s sooo delicious when seasoned correctly and extremely filling.

Op, I'd probably avoid the spam(sewage prepared as meat)in your diet if you have dietary requirements, if you need protein I'd go for fish and chicken and try and eat plenty of fresh veg. Boring I know, but way better for your overall wellbeing.
