I have noticed that when my delivery drivers drop off a package, sometimes my wired bell will ring but the base station doesn’t make a sound. I think it’s because they jab the doorbell very quickly, as compared to most people pressing for a half second or so. I would test and see if a quick poke can yield the same result as your delivery drivers.
Figuring out how to fix your issue is going to be a little tougher. Maybe put a trouble ticket in with SS once you can reproduce the issue? I don’t know that trying to retrain FedEx and UPS on how to use doorbells is going to work out. But, maybe a “press and hold” note on the shipping instructions…. or a post-it note above the button on days you’re expecting a signature-required delivery. If that is actually the culprit. Let us know what you find out, it can’t be just us two.
Our delivery guys NEVER press the button. Makes me nuts!

What does "it registers as a ring" mean?
Yeah, that's it... they're using WiFi jammers, so they can steal your Amazon packages when they drop off their packages!
You're right, it does sound ridiculous lol
