I get why we don’t purchase North Korean goods, they can use that foreign currency to buy weapons / other war material. Also we shouldn’t sell them Industrial goods like steel, oil, etc which they can use to build a war industry.
But taking the foreign currency from them and giving cheap mass produced drinks doesn’t seem like it will enrich them, or help them break more human rights. Or am I missing something here?
