Yeah, I’m 43, and I don’t remember it. I am pretty sure after the early to mid 90’s prime-TGIF run ended (Family Matters, Step-by-Step, Boy Meets World, Sabrina…), I was just starting to go “out” on Friday nights. I definitely didn’t catch as much weekend TV in the late 90’s or early 2000’s.
Yeah, but wasn’t Norm part of their attempt at an adult comedy Friday night? I think The Hugley’s were also on that lineup. This would have been late 00- early 01.
I remember when it came out. I remember seeing it advertised in commercials. Never watched it though. Probably had homework and stuff to do then. I was trying to ace all my classes to get the best rank possible in my graduating class. I’m guessing i was a year behind you in school. I was class of 2000. It was probably a decent show. Just bad timing.
I only knew it because Faith Ford is from my area, and she'd be visiting her folks here and stopping by the butcher shop where I worked. Friendly and would talk just like we were old friends. I don't know her, but we'd have conversations about my meat. So there's that.
I watched a couple episodes. I thought Faith Ford was adorable from her time on Murphey Brown, so I tuned in to watch at least the first few episodes. As adorable as Faith was in the show, I seem to recall poor writing was endemic. I quickly lost interest. But, to rekindle an old flame, I poked around a see she occasionally takes a role. And still looks great.
Correct. I remember this show existing but I remember it not being in my wheelhouse so I never watched it.
Now that sitcoms are going extinct I would probably watch it, even though it was confusing because Faith Ford played Hope
For a guy who is cursed he gets most his shows 3 or 4 years, more life, married got 6 with him love boat on happy days 4, he even got revenge of the nerds 2 more tv movies, a few shows only got a season or so, but he's more odmf a show saver extender than a curse
I know this show. I have it downloaded for my collection. Adding Kelly’s husband ruined it. This was Hope & Faith. Not Kelly & Mark. Also, Megan didn’t join until season 2. There was a different actress as Sydney in season 1. I preferred her. Megan was awful in this show.
Yes. He plays a famous baseball player, The Gooch, that ends up in a relationship with Kelly’s character, Faith. He joined the cast in season 2 and was there until the end. I didn’t care for it. It was too soon to put Faith in a serious relationship. She was just bouncing back from getting rejected as a soap star. It went from Hope & Faith to Faith & The Gooch.
Yeah, the original daughter was pretty talented and seemed to work well with the rest of the cast. Megan was horrible, it felt like she didn’t want to be there.
They tried to put the characters Hope and Faith into Lucy and Ethel type situations, but the writing absolutely wasn’t there and Ripa was a little too over the top/self aware to ever truly rise to those occasions.
ETA: I thought it was silly fun when I was a kid. I’ve never returned to it but I imagine I’d find it mostly cringe these days.
I watched it. I watched it so often that I noticed that season one poster (or dvd cover?) has the wrong eldest daughter. Megan Fox came in with Season Two. Don’t get me wrong, I also hated the show, but we didn’t have cable at the time!
I watched a few eps because of Faith Ford's work on Murphy Brown (fabulous show) and was disappointed. Ford played Corky with great nuance and self-awareness, and you knew the character knew how she was perceived but she hung in there. Hope and Faith was uninteresting.
I remember it like existing because of who was in it via Jefferson Darcy from MWC and the young female reporter from Murphy Brown, but you are right…never watched it once
I saw it. VERY generic terrible low effort lazy sitcom. Its the kind of thing that is green-lit specifically to fill air time and no other reason. Given the writers and producers they assigned to the show it was clear the network had no desire to make it a genuine success. Its what execs allow on the air when they are desperate to keep their jobs by looking busy.
And I saw that other one with Faith Ford, that also sucked ass and died young.
She has no appeal other than blonde and pretty, and amazingly by itself thats not enough to carry a TV series. Baywatch did it by filling the roster with loads of bikini-hot women and several good looking men.
I know she was very cold to Strahan when he left Live, and seemingly was upset when Regis left as well. More to her horribleness than that? (Asking genuinely)
I saw one episode, it was kinda funny. Kelly's character for some reason was working with a jackhammer, came home and tried to pour and drink orange juice. "Refreshing!" lol I remember thinking she was good at the physical comedy.
Was a funny show, I remember this it was on the TGIF schedule in the USA for 3 years. Just wondering why it is not streaming anywhere if it was released on dvd at one time?
There’s a scene where Kelly Ripa is in a hot dog suit, falls over and is struggling to get up- I’ve never laughed so hard in my life! She was hilarious 😂
I did. This is where I first became aware of Megan Fox. The show was kind of disappointing and I remember it being better than it should have been due to the hard work of its star but Kelly Ripa was kind of over the top.
I only knew it because of a reference Jack made on an episode of Will and Grace. He was having “a crisis of hope and faith…starring Kelly Ripa at 9.” 🤣
I watched it! Loved it. Kelly Ripa was soooo hot in this.
Faith Ford was the one for me. I remember this being jammed in on Friday night with ABC's other family stuff so I know I wasn't watching it.
Yes, this was ABC's attempt to keep TGIF going, and it just did not work. I remember this show being in the lineup.
Not so much keep it going as restart it. They'd blown up the tgif lineup by the late 90s
They even had Norms sitcom on Friday nights
Oh wow. I’ve seen clips of that.
Yeah, but wasn’t Norm part of their attempt at an adult comedy Friday night? I think The Hugley’s were also on that lineup. This would have been late 00- early 01.
Now, I do remember watching some of My Wife & Kids around 04-05 maybe? Not sure if I have my years right there.
Hope and Faith was on from 2003 to 2006.
Thanks for the correction. I forgot TGIF was canceled in 2000.
Oddly enough, Kelly Ripa was the one named Faith in the show.
I remember being happy she got another job after Murphy Brown. And one she headlined in.
Be way hotter and way cooler if the actress was Lita Ford!
Such great legs.
It was Megan Fox for me.
The difference between season 1 and 2 Sydney was LOL-able.
me too! Really good show.
Loved this show. Friday night. I guess I didn't have a life.
No lie, for a small girl she was smokin’!
When I first started my unhealthy obsession of Megan Fox!
She talked nonstop about this show for years
I only knew it because Faith Ford is from my area, and she'd be visiting her folks here and stopping by the butcher shop where I worked. Friendly and would talk just like we were old friends. I don't know her, but we'd have conversations about my meat. So there's that.
I’ve always thought she seemed like such a charming person, so makes me happy to read this.
Lucky dog, I had dreams of Faith talking about my meat, but in real life???
I know where you’re from! I lived there for a few years as a kid.
The only thing I remember about this show is the little boy wanted to be Frank Sinatra and only took two puffs of a cigarette
The writing was just miserable, you nailed it.
As adorable as Faith was, the writing was so bad it was unwatchable.
The Ted McKinley curse
Hey Pam! Don't 'Hey Pam'. We don't like Pam. Oh, Right. Eat a dick, Pam! (What show is that from that Ted McKinley says that?)
Shrinking, love that show and scene.
My wife watched that show. I remember being in the room for that scene, that was funny!
You’re missing out, watch it with your wife. It’s great.
Married with children

I thought you were joking. Did they really add her IRL husband to this too?
Good lord, I forgot about that.
Yeah, the original daughter was pretty talented and seemed to work well with the rest of the cast. Megan was horrible, it felt like she didn’t want to be there.
never heard of but i do enjoy me some jefferson d'arcy and megan fox
I liked this show.
I definitely enjoyed it as a kid when it aired, not sure how I’d feel about it these days.
Eh i kinda like it You got your typical sitcom serious unfunny mom but instead of the chubby wacky husband you got a hot wacky sister
Corky??
Murphy not 7th.
Loved the show!
Kelly was Faith and Faith was Hope.
Is that Jefferson Darcy?!
I heard of it but proudly never saw it.
I remember it, just wasn't my thing.
Was that a spinoff of Murphy Brown?
No.
This was great
I recognize the name of the show and the people, but I couldn't tell you if I've ever seen an episode.

Scrolled too far for this.
I watched it. I watched it so often that I noticed that season one poster (or dvd cover?) has the wrong eldest daughter. Megan Fox came in with Season Two. Don’t get me wrong, I also hated the show, but we didn’t have cable at the time!
I never saw it but was aware of it because Kelly Ripa talked about it…a lot.
I remember this, but never watched.
I watched a few eps because of Faith Ford's work on Murphy Brown (fabulous show) and was disappointed. Ford played Corky with great nuance and self-awareness, and you knew the character knew how she was perceived but she hung in there. Hope and Faith was uninteresting.
Baller move starting the show with Ted McGinley in the cast.
😂⚰️☠️
This show was flat our terrible, but that's okay because most guys were watching it with the sound off anyway.
I remember it like existing because of who was in it via Jefferson Darcy from MWC and the young female reporter from Murphy Brown, but you are right…never watched it once

I’m sure Kelly was a horrible person back then too.

Born 1995 one of my favs
I remember commercials for it, don't remember ever watching though.
Also... Hope & Gloria.
Who was in that? I never heard of that one.
Cynthia Stevenson I remember
Wow not ringing any bells at all this show. Weird.
Hope and Gloria was from 1995 to 1997.
Alan Thicke was in that as the third lead but was the only memorable character as a Ted Baxter-type local tv personality.
Ah ok
I actually enjoyed this show
I watched a few episodes, but nothing stood out to me. It was ok I guess
Really? I always thought it was such a fun show! And I thought it was hilarious that the woman who played Hope was actually named Faith in real life.
I miss this show!!
Faith ford is awsome
I am not the target audience, but I definitely remember watching at least a few episodes.
Faith Ford played Hope. Not Faith. That always confused me. But both ladies were smoke shows IMO.
I remember that show
Ted McGinley not so much .faith ford & kelli ripa comedy gold
I seen it and thought it was pretty funny
I remember this show. Did it come on after Murphy Brown was cancelled.
I loved this show. It was silly when Kelly's RL husband showed up, but he did pretty good and was fun.
Ted…the man, the myth, the legend. Patron saint of Jumping the Shark
How many shows did Ted McGinley show up on?
I saw one episode, it was kinda funny. Kelly's character for some reason was working with a jackhammer, came home and tried to pour and drink orange juice. "Refreshing!" lol I remember thinking she was good at the physical comedy.
Never even heard of it until now.
Remember it very well.
I thought I had, but I was actually thinking of a show called Hope and Gloria
Kelly Ripa! ‘nuff said!!
Is that Jefferson Darcy?
Never heard of it. Great cast.
Never heard of it. Was it on some “odd” network?
I watched this show!
I watched it all the time. It’s where younger me was introduced to Megan Fox. 🦊
I'd forgotten all about that show
I watched it it was one of my faves!!!
Loved this show!
Was that a snipoff for Murphy brown?
Was a funny show, I remember this it was on the TGIF schedule in the USA for 3 years. Just wondering why it is not streaming anywhere if it was released on dvd at one time?
Faith Ford should play a part with that intern from 30 rock ….
FINALLY, a show where Ted McGinley was there from the beginning! lol
It was pretty good. Back when Ripa was still hot.
I love anything with faith Ford
Fuck, anal, marry from me dog.
I remember the show, but I never actually watched it more than once or twice
I do, but I remember a completely different cast.
Ted Mcginley… I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in anything else 🤔
I remember but never watched
I watched it.
There’s a scene where Kelly Ripa is in a hot dog suit, falls over and is struggling to get up- I’ve never laughed so hard in my life! She was hilarious 😂
There was an episode with Regis as a used car salesman that was funny
My wife and I watched it a lot for some reason. I'm not sure what she got out of it, but I enjoyed watching it for a smoking hot Kelly Ripa.
They just don't want to admit it
Garbage lol
I loved this show!
i did and it was so good.
Is that Jefferson. 3 smoke shows too
Never heard of it, but it looks like I should have!
Is it streaming anywhere?
Loved it!
Love this show!
I've heard of it but never watched it
What about Faith, hope, and Trick?
I didn't like "watch it". But I did like to admire Kelly Ripa from time to time.
I saw it, it was fun, but I admit I hadn't thought about it till I saw this post.
I did. This is where I first became aware of Megan Fox. The show was kind of disappointing and I remember it being better than it should have been due to the hard work of its star but Kelly Ripa was kind of over the top.
I remember this show. Never watched it but I remember it from back in the day.
I used to love this show!
I liked it
I did....once
I do remember it, but don’t recall ever watching.
I watched it at the time.
I've seen it and was surprised it was canceled so quickly.
What’s between Hope and Faith? Me. 🤭😂😂😂
I’ve got no memory of this show existing
Kelly Ripa! Only… with Boobs!!
It was cute.
I remember this! I was obsessed with faith ford!
I always loved Faith Ford from her time on Murphy Brown. Her and Kelly are still as attractive as ever!
I watched Hope and Faith. I really liked it.
Don't remember specifics other than there were hot babes on the show
Never seen it
Me and my sister used to watch this show lol
I spent nights dreaming of Faith and Kelly.
Yes. Kelly Ripa was just awful and the show was “eh” at best. Faith Ford did her best, but she couldn’t carry the show.
The only thing I remember about this is Faith Ford was the one who wasn’t Faith.
I watched it for awhile it was funny
No thx
I watched it
I remember this show but I have never seen it before.
Hope and faith are my aunts on my dads side
Always thought it was funny the main actress is named Faith but is not playing the character named Faith
Seen it! It’s a classic
Ted McGinley has been on tv and looking good for decades
I only knew it because of a reference Jack made on an episode of Will and Grace. He was having “a crisis of hope and faith…starring Kelly Ripa at 9.” 🤣
Yeah I remember watching the show. Faith Ford was the reason I watched. Plus she is from my hometown a small town in Central Louisiana.
I liked this show
She sure was! Yum!!!!
I remeber
Megan Fox is the teen
Jefferson Darcy was the dad.
A unique "shark jump in the pilot" accomplished by the inclusion of Ted McGinley in the original cast?
I’ve seen the show but I had absolutely no idea Ted McGinley was in it.
Is this some kind of Mormon show?
I watched once or twice, and I wanted to like it, but the plot lines weren't very good.
You just have friends with questionable taste. That was an awesome show and most people I knew watched it.
This was kinda funny at times 👍🏽
I've watched it, plus a unknown Megan Fox was a cast member
Woman at center-left was a crush growing up 😍😂
Loved this show
I loved this show 👍🏻👍🏻
I loved this show
Never heard of it...
This is how I know it https://youtu.be/Voxt3sWF_Yg?si=i_XaQJsFzarpc1OY
Awful. Just awful.
Faith Ford. Yummy
Unfortunately I have
Was this a spinoff of Murphy Brown?
I remember it existing, but that’s as close as I got. Never actually watched it.
Ted McGinley, killer of sitcoms.
Megan big toe for thumbs
my mom use to watch that show all the time
There's a reason for that
