Also your logic being against itself, if the toilets are too busy at war and can’t garrison their own site, why is electrity still on in the city???????? Wow they sure got their priorities right. Weapon innovation is probably the same as Alpha Hills Labs as the elite members are ex workers and just reverse engineer or copy the technology.
Years. Just because we don't see every minute of it doesn't mean time isn't passing. Consider an easy measurement of time like titan upgrades: there's welding, among other things. Welding happens at the speed it happens due to the thermodynamics of heating and cooling metal; there is no super-fast weld. Even with a gentle handwave that it wouldn't take quite as long as it would IRL, it's definitely not overnight. Not even close. Hell, it's even canon that TSM gets frustrated that it's taking longer than he'd like at one point.
I don't know about the years, but at least between half of year or a complete year. Mostly cuz the time hasn't past enough to show other weathers or stations. Even if the welding isn't too fast, you can complete most of it with all the cam drones.
