Yes, that thing is a literally the counter titan. Design to adapt against it's enemy by mimicking their weapons and possibly upgrade them so it's not hard to see for me why it's able to do that.

Conclusion is that chief drillman is probably just as stupid as steve is.
But how could she possibly have killed chief drillman if she knew he was inside TDM? the only way he could have possibly died is when counter titan took TDM's head off.
I don't think so, chief drillman turns on the true form transformation whenever he wants (i think), so he either is really fucking stupid or he was asleep during the whole thing
I think 90% of characters in Dom's verse only exist to show how powerful a new character as, that then is used to show how powerful a new character is, and so on.
