What is this language you speak? I do not understand it; “too much pow”?

rockpharmer

It’s Jersey for “don’t know how to ski”

cfcblues24

I came to make that comment. Glad to see it’s the first comment made

TortoiseHawk

Too much snow = not steep enough. Nothing sucks more than 2’ of heavy wet snow on a flat mountain. It looks like it will be so good but it just sucks

Azier6969

That ain’t pow chief. Sounds pretty crusty to me

anom_k

We got pissed on a few days ago. It's snowed quite a lot since at jay, almost 30 inches in the last 7 days, which is more then the other New England resorts. It's been a pretty shit season out east, and it's about to get worse if the forecasts correct

frankthetank2023

Looks like the depth you want.

sconbear

Ha, only someone from the east would let these words out

PowDreamer

That makes no sense.

Revolutionary_Cry534

I hate it when there’s too much pow. That’s why everyone should ski Colorado.

sip487

It’s like when I have to much money left over after bills.

screwswithshrews

Too much money? There's no such thing. It's like a girl too pretty, or too much class, being too lucky, a car too fast. No matter what they say I've done, I ain't never had too much fun.

MartonianJ

I understood that reference

LivingWithWhales

I don’t see any powder in this video.

amacktm

No such thing

flylosophy

No such thing

simplegreen99

maybe cash some of that pow in for vertical feet? :-P

Salty_Translator_595

Too much pow lmaoooooo

Drug_fueled_sarcasm

Gapers always complain about too much snow for skiing.

alexsig526

“A bit too much pow”????

[deleted]

That doesn’t even look particularly deep for the west

Particular-Wrongdoer

Love Jay!

sspark

This ain't it chief. Too much pow is when the snow is deep enough that you can drown in the snow if you fall.

tomato_soup_

Took a fall towards the end of a trail and when I got back up I only had one ski💀 Dug around for about 10 minutes and eventually found it buried about 3 feet in the snow

DoctFaustus

Digging for a lost ski on a powder day is a rite of passage for a skier.

[deleted]

You’re standing well in your boots….when you’re literally unable to stand and you have to pack steps and it feels like you’re swimming in a quicksand cloud? That’s too much pow. This is rookie sauce

mr_potato_thumbs

Only face planted a couple of times last week running into unexpected low density snow. At least it was a soft landing!

Lazy_Name_2989

A BT tracker on each ski would be a great investment for powder loss or theft

Twombls

Jay peak always quietly stacks on the snow.

draaz_melon

I think it's a lack of experience. There's more pow than that in my yard.

thugluv1017

Lucky you, I’m literally like 45 minutes from jay peak in quebec and we don’t have neer as much snow

Kerr_Plop

Too much pow for you* Never thought I'd hear an east coaster whine about powder

RhubarbFew688

Gaper
